    Bandit

Bandit is a Clash Royale legendary rarity card that can be obtained from the Jungle Arena arena (Arena 9).

    Strategy

    • The Bandit works well as a cheap punishment or double-lane attack card because its lunge mechanic makes it an immediate threat. Completely ignoring a Bandit is usually fatal, as it will reduce the Tower of Crowns health by just over 50%.
    • The onslaught of the Bandit can cross the river. Knowing this, it can be effective in eliminating ranged troops that are placed near it. Its onslaught damage is enough to defeat any ground troops that the Arrows can defeat, reducing the health of some troops like Musketeer by half, requiring only two more regular attacks to fully defeat them.
    • When there is a single troop that is defeated by your onslaught, between the bridge and the Tower of Crowns, deploy it to charge the troop, then run towards the tower. This allows you to get to the tower faster while countering the troop.
    • She pairs well with the Dark Prince. They are capable of holding together without colliding too much, and the Dark Prince's area damage will eliminate swarms like Goblin Gang (as well as having a shield that can absorb a very powerful hit from cards like Sparks, and the Bandit can escape that attack with his onslaught). When this damage is combined with their onslaught, they can quickly defeat "glass cannons" and even "mini-tanks", such as Mini PEKKA or Caballero.
    • It is very effective against scattered units, as its onslaught can easily cover the distance between troops and deal double the damage.
    • It can pass through the rocks of a Rock Thrower and The Log without being pushed or taken damage. It's especially important to keep this in mind when using The Log, as there is only one chance to attack it, unlike the Rock Thrower, which will still defeat it after its initial onslaught.
    • If you charge while being targeted by an Inferno Tower or Inferno Dragon, your upward damage will reset, allowing you to distract them for an extended period of time.
    • Its lunge mechanic allows it to nullify the first hit of units that have a very fast initial attack speed, such as Valkyrie or Prince (with its charged attack), making it a good counterattack. However, skilled opponents can use Shock on her to remove her onslaught from the equation, despite it being a negative Elixir trade. For example, a Prince's charge attack and Shock damage will completely defeat her and leave the Prince unharmed, often forcing the Bandit user to deploy another card to defend themselves.
    • He can fully counter a lone Mega Knight with the help of the player's Tower of Crowns. When deployed 4 squares from the river and 3 squares from the Tower of Crowns when the Mega Knight is 2-3 squares from the river, it will lunge at just the right time to negate the Mega Knight's jump damage and draw him into range of both Towers of Crowns. .

    Counterstrategy

    • The defender can force it to attack weak units, such as Skeletons, placing the weak units in front of their stronger units to absorb their lunge attack. This must be done, at the latest, just before she charges.
    • It cannot ram targets within 3 squares of it. Take advantage of this and place melee troops directly in front of her to prevent her from charging. Without his onslaught, he cannot in one hit any troop with hit points higher than or equal to a Goblin.
    • His invulnerability while charging should not be overestimated. She can still take damage while charging to lunge. His charge before his onslaught can also be reset with a stun or freeze attack.
    • The Goblins can easily beat her to get a positive Elixir exchange.
    • The cheapest but riskiest card to counter the Bandit is Ice Spirit. Drop him on the fourth space and one space in the other lane 1,3 seconds before his attack is in range. This allows the Ice Spirit to escape her onslaught and freeze her, completely denying her.
    • Can be fully countered with only Skeletons. When charging his onslaught, the player must place Skeletons 2 squares from the center to the side of his attack and 3 pieces from the King's Tower. She will launch into the attack range of both towers and will be defeated just before she is about to attack the Tower of Crowns.

    History

The information in this section has been obtained from Clash Royale weba page, the Clash Royale community in English.

    Buffs

    • June 12 from 2017: A balance change increased the Bandit's hit points by 4% and caused her onslaught to start faster.
    • February 12, 2018: A balance change lowered his minimum lunge range to 3,5 (from 4 squares).

    Nerves

    • April 1 from 2019: A balance change reduced his hit points by 4%.

    Redesigns

    • September 5, 2018: The September 2018 update made it immune to damage while charging, rather than "untargetable".

    Miscellany

    • The Bandit was available early in the "Bandit Choice Challenge" that started on March 17, 2017. In this challenge, the gameplay was similar to a normal Choice Challenge, except that one of the players could choose who I would use the Bandit. Anyone who got 12 wins would get the Bandit early. However, this was not exploitable like the Electric Mage Tournament as the Bandit's Choice Challenge had unique rewards.
    • 24 March of 2017: The Bandit is released generally.
    • October 9, 2017: The October 2017 update fixed a bug where the Bandit was charging a shorter distance than it normally should.
