    Catalogue

Mario flag seen in the Animal Crossing: City Folk catalog.

El our CATALOGUE It is a mechanic present in all the games of the Animal Crossing series. It is a unique feature of the local Village store that allows players to see all the items they have purchased or received throughout the game. Most of these items can be purchased from the catalog, but some items, such as fossils and gyroids, are not available for purchase.

    Function

Through the catalog, players can purchase the furniture, rugs, wallpaper, gyroids, fossils, clothing, umbrellas, accessories, stationery, tools (Animal Crossing only) and Songs (New Leaf only) that they have already purchased or received. You cannot purchase exclusive event items, even if they appear in the catalog, in Animal Crossing and New Leaf you can only order five items from the catalog per day. In the rest of the games, the player can order up to ten orders per delivery period.

Items ordered through the catalog will be mailed to the Player during normal mail delivery hours, which are 9:00 AM and 17:00 PM. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and City Folk, the Player will receive points for each purchase.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World the catalog can be transferred to City Folk if, during the start of the game, the player imports his character from the DS game.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the catalog is unlocked by obtaining Tendo and Nendo's first Store expansion, Merca T&N, which has a machine to allow the player to order items that the player has previously obtained. Unlike the previous games, the artworks cannot be obtained through the catalog. However, the catalog is in alphabetical order and includes a search function to allow the player to find a specific piece of furniture more easily. The search function was improved in the Welcome amiibo update by no longer requiring exact search terms to find furniture. Also, if the player sells his Town, his catalog can be sold for additional funds or kept for his future game.
