DIY project.
DIY projects (DIY recipes) are a new mechanic introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We can receive DIY projects through the neighbors, buying them in the store, or they can appear randomly through balloons and messages inside the bottles, you can also get them in the Nook Terminal. When you receive them you will find them in the form of paper, to learn these projects you have to read that paper, then the paper will disappear from our inventory and we can manufacture said project on a workshop table. Normally, DIY projects are usually furniture that we could buy in previous editions of the saga, but now they can only be obtained through DIY projects, such furniture can be placed to the taste of the player either inside a house or outside .
Customize objects
If you wish, you can edit and modify the appearance of the furniture that you have obtained through the customization kits, these kits can be obtained in Mini Nook, depending on the object you are going to customize, it will cost you more or less customization kits. You can edit the color, the design of the fabric, and even add custom designs that you have previously made. To edit the fabric design you will have to make friends with Mili, when you have talked with her for several days, she will start giving you a special fabric once a day which you can use to personalize.
Seasonal items
In each season of the year there will be unique DIY projects, which are made with seasonal items; snowflakes in winter, cherry blossoms and bamboo in spring, summer shells and pearls in summer, pine cones and chestnuts / acorns in autumn.
