Editing criteria

This page describes how all the articles on this web page should be structured, this in order to maintain a standard organization throughout the web page. The editing criteria mentioned here were designed for the source editor, also called source editor, this is because editing in this mode over time and in practice is simpler.

Summary

General criteria

• When editing an article you should always keep a good spelling.
• When writing the name of a unit, it should always start with a capital letter, even if this is not a proper name. For example: Royal recruits
• At the end of a section, it must be separated with an "enter". For instance:

== Section 1 == Sample text == Section 2 == Sample text

• When writing the name of an article it should always be written in brackets, this should be done whenever it is the first time it is mentioned.

Article name

Which results in a link, the accents must be taken into account when writing this.

• To use a template, it must be enclosed in square brackets.

Nombre de la plantilla

Which results in the corresponding template, however some templates need some parameters to work, at the moment we are working to create a documentation where it shows how to use each template.

• To make a link with a different name you must write:

Different name

An example of this is the following link, which addresses the Skeleton Dragons but has a different name.

Example: Dragon skeletons

Cards

The articles related to any card in the game must be structured as follows:

• Card: This is a template that describes the mechanics of each unit within the game.
• Strategies: describes what are the techniques to attack with this unit and how to counter attack.
• History: This section writes the history of this card, its events and balance updates that involve this card.
• Curiosities: this section is totally optional, as far as this refers to that if the letter does not have any data it is not necessary, but if possible to investigate about this.
• Statistics: describes the card's hit points, damage and other attributes according to its level.
• MRCartas: it is a template used to facilitate navigation within the web page.
• Interpage webs: this is a section that makes it easier to find the same article in different languages, if possible to add it when the article exists on the partner web pages.
• : this section specifies which groups the unit corresponds to.

This is an example of the above:

脌 la Carte

With which the data of the letter must be written, in general a letter does not have all the data mentioned above, so without missing some parameter of the template it is something totally normal.

This is an example of how the "Letter" template is used

Strategies

This section is exclusively dedicated to explaining what are the weaknesses and strengths of a letter, usually the website has some articles with two separate sections, which if possible create a single section.

History

Before writing any record, if it comes from the Clash Royale community in English, the first thing to write is the template:

Historia

Here you should write the release date of the letter, its events and the dates when they released updates that affected these letters.

Curiosities

This section is dedicated exclusively to collecting extra data on this letter, whether it corresponds to a small group. For instance:

• Skeleton Dragons are one of four cards that come in pairs, the others being Archers, Elite Barbarians, and Wall Breakers.

This section must be separated by hyphens, these are written with the * sign

Statistics

Here you must write the statistics of the card according to its level, this can be created like the history section, with the difference that there are some parameters to change.

In the example above this section should be replaced

Level || Hit Points || Damage || Damage per second

By the level and the corresponding attributes. For instance:

Which results in:

Level

Life points
Editing criteria
Hurt
Editing criteria
Damage per second
Editing criteria
1 208 63 37
2 228 69 40

CRM Letters

This is a navigation template that is added almost to the end of the article, this in order to facilitate navigation within the web page. To insert it you must write

Calidad de la carta

Which results in:

Cards

Interpage webs

In this section you must write the links to access the article in different languages, if they exist. An example of this is:

en: Skeleton Dragons

Which results in:Editing criteria

As its name indicates it is to join the article or in this case the unit to a category, to add categories to an article, this can be done in the upper panel by selecting the three hyphens /. Every unit must fall into one of the following categories:

Unit Type: This category type describes whether the card is a troop, structure, or spell.

• Troops
• Spells
• Structures

Letter quality: this type of category specifies the quality to which the letter corresponds:

• Common units
• Special units
• Epic units
• Legendary Units

Arena - This category type specifies the arena the unit is in:

• Sand units # (sand number to which the card corresponds)

Unit transport: specify if it is a land or air unit

• Ground units
• Air units

Type of damage the unit inflicts: specifies whether the damage is ground or air

• Ground damage units
• Air damage units

The above examples are based on the article Skeleton Dragons. All users are free to contribute to the website, as long as the standard structure mentioned on this page is followed. Any questions you may have, do not hesitate to leave me a message on my wall.
