Elf Gang

Elf Gang is a common rarity card in Clash Royale that can be obtained from the Jungle Arena arena (Arena 9).

Details

• It can be obtained from chests after reaching Arena 9.
• Deploy 5 single-target, low health troops: 2 Spear Goblins and 3 Goblins.
• The display is always 3 Goblins in the front and 2 Goblins with Lance in the back.
• It takes 3 units of elixir to set up this card.

Strategy

• Although the Goblin Gang deploys Goblins and Goblins with Spear at the same time, using both troops as two cards in the same deck has the advantage of being able to be deployed separately, so they cannot be instantly countered by troops with area damage. like the Valkyrie.
• Due to their placement, Leprechauns in the front, who have higher health, will absorb damage from Leprechauns with Spear from behind, creating a mini attack, although Leprechauns deal much more damage than Goblins with Spear.
• It can be risky to deploy the Goblin Gang in a line as The Trunk can fully counter the Goblin Gang for a positive elixir exchange. However, they can be used to swing the opponent's Arrows or Trunk.
• An Electric Mage or Valkyrie deployed on top of the Goblin Gang can eliminate this card almost immediately and can also create a counterattack.
• This card can provide a decent distraction for high-damage enemies that only attack one target like the PEKKA or the Prince, giving you time to eliminate these troops.
• An unsupported PEKKA can be eliminated by a properly placed Gang of Goblins with the help of a Tower of Crowns.
• An Ice Spirit can absorb a hit or two and then freeze a Tower of Crowns, potentially allowing the Gang of Goblins to deal massive damage.
• Using a Mirror and a Clone together on this card is a very risky strategy unless the player is sure the opponent has no area damage, but has the potential to swarm or pressure the enemy.
• The Goblin Gang can completely neutralize a Goblin Barrel if calculated correctly.
• The Goblin Gang can completely neutralize a Hog Rider if correctly calculated and placed in front of it.

• June 12 from 2017: A swing upgrade decreases the number of Spear Goblins deployed by the Goblin Gang from 3 to 2.

Curiosities

• It is the only card next to the Rascals that deploys different units. Both cards can be unlocked in Arena 9.
• It is one of three cards that deploys exactly five troops, the others being the Bats and the Barbarians.
• Although the Goblin Gang only displays five Goblins, the image on the card shows six. Possibly because there used to be three Goblins with Spear before.
• It is one of the 6 cards associated with goblins. The others are: Goblin with Spear, Goblin, Goblin Thrower, Barrel of Goblins, Hut of Goblins, Giant Goblin, and Strongman's Cage.
