El goldfish (goldfish in English) (Not to be confused with another fish: El Dorado) is a tiny fish "brother" of the telescopic, a very similar fish but black in color. The Goldfish has a great curiosity that is that when you put it at home, its fish tank is special, different from the others (and much more beautiful and elegant). Socrates mentions in Animal Crossing: Wild World that he had one when he was little. Apparently, the goldfish is a species of variety of the carp, like the Telescopic one.

Fishing
You have to have a little patience if you want to fish a Goldfish, since like the telescopic, it is rare to find. It can be found throughout the year, although spring or summer is recommended if possible. Try to search among the smallest possible shadows, the Goldfish is barely 15 cm.

What adorable little wings! And what bulging eyes! Who could resist such beauty? I'll take good care of this beauty. Welcome to your new home, cute little fish!
Wild world
When I was a little boy I had a Gold Fish named Socratin. Goldfish are very sociable. Or at least they are when you feed them ... Who could resist?
City Folk/Let's Go to the City
Uuhu ... Do you know how much a gold fish can grow? Well, nothing less than ... 30 centimeters! Their growth is limited by the size of the aquarium, so it is not usual to see them so large. But our aquariums are a sea of spacious ... This little animal will be like a fish in water! (Wow, how clever I am today…!)
New Leaf
These aquarium fish come from the selective breeding of different varieties of carp. It took centuries to achieve the color and long tail fin that this species displays today. Goldfish are black in youth and have other traces of carp. As they grow they turn red, certainly much more characteristic.
New Horizons
How beautiful is the goldfish, right? Did you know that they can get quite large? Up to 30 centimeters! Well, roughly. It also depends a lot on the fish tank or aquarium where they are located. Now I am trying to calculate how big this goldfish can grow in the museum's fish tank ... Maybe there is no way to know ... We'll see in a while.

Extra information
The goldfish is a fish of the Carp family. It lives in slow and cold waters of the Asian continent. It is one of the few varieties that can live in outdoor ponds and withstand low temperatures. It is a very resistant fish and ideal for those who start in the hobby of raising fish.
Originally from China, it descends from the crucial carp (Carassius carassius) that inhabits East Asia, where various varieties began to be bred and developed. Spread shortly after through Europe and finally reaching America. Currently there are more than 150 recognized varieties, the Carassius being the most popular and sold fish in the world, we can find it in most aquarium stores, where we can choose from its wide variety of species.
As a result of the multiple crosses, numerous varieties have been obtained, being the most varied (lion's head, kite, bubble eyes, oranda, etc.) and of different colors (red, silver, red and white, black and red , calico, etc.). Being the variety called "telescope" it is one of the most popular.
