La ketone, green beetle o japanese green beetle depending on the delivery, (fruit beetle in English) is a small summer beetle. These beetles are, for some people, real living emeralds. This beetle is quite similar to the GameCube Green Beetle and the Dung Beetle and the Gold Beetle (Ketonia is green, the Dung Beetle purple, and the Gold Beetle is gold but otherwise they look a lot alike). Its selling price is the same as your starting fruit (100 berries).

Museum information
Wild world
These critters command high prices because they are considered beautiful. I can't understand how attractive a bug can be. Maybe if he knew he was the last of his kind ...
City Folk
Ketones are brightly colored, and have metallic reflections. They feed on the nectar of flowers. They look a bit like rhino beetles. They are smaller ... but just as horrible.
New Leaf
Ketones are bright green in color and are often found near fruit trees. Their wings are well protected under the elytra, which they open when they need to fly. The larvae feed on plant roots and decomposing fruits.
New Horizons
The Japanese green beetle is a tough type, the kind you wouldn't want to find in a dark alley. It's a huge, square-headed bug, and it makes a tremendous noise when it flies. In addition, it has hooks on its feet that help it grab onto trees and climb. Hooks on the feet ... Uhu!
Bug Window
Wild world
These beetles are real living emeralds. To fly, they dispense with their forewings. | |
