The interesting thing is that with Fortnite we will not have to deal with a simple Monopoly with revisited graphics, but of an edition that will summarize, briefly, the typical mechanics of Epic's battle royale. And therefore the winner, here, will not be the one who will win the most revenue, but simply the last one to stay alive, in full Fortnite style.

Instead of competing for roads, in Fortnite's Monopoly the first player to set foot on an area (the names of the boxes obviously recall parts of the videogame map) the conquest, and can then build a shelter to prevent players from damaging it. In this edition there are in fact no economic negotiations, and each player will instead have tokens to symbolize the life points he has left, at the end of which he will be eliminated.
The dice, on the other hand, have the task of defining specific actions, such as the use of bandages to recover life points, and damage to opponents and their fortifications. There will also be special actions, gadgets and obviously unexpected events, such as atmospheric ones, designed to spice up the already heated battle.
In short, Fortnite's Monopoly will almost be a board game in itself, and we just have to hope that its rules, in an attempt to please both fringe of fans, do not end up being too unbalanced.
Fortnite Monopoly is expected for the next few months, although the price has not been revealed. it is plausible that it aligns with the other editions of the game, ie between 30 and 40 euros. However, the game's preorder is already available.
