Description of Toons.TV

Blues have hiccups. The other birds try to make it stop, but it only gets worse ...

Argument

Red finds himself making soup for dinner, serving the other birds, when the Blues eat the soup too quickly, dirtying their faces and the table. So this causes the Blues to hiccup, first just one and then the other two hiccups simultaneously. The other birds view the Blues and their hiccups with some tenderness.

Already during the night, the Blues sleep in their little bed made of wood and hay while they still have hiccups, causing the other birds (sleeping in a tree) to be unable to sleep due to the hiccups. The next morning, the Blues wake up with a lot of energy, however the other birds barely manage to get up, because they kept awake when they could not sleep because of the Blues' hiccups. One of the Blues pretends to be one of the sleepy birds and they scoff, the other birds start to get annoyed by the blues' hiccups.

Then Red, Chuck, and Bomb spy on them behind a bush, and devise a plan to knock the Blues out. It occurs to Chuck that they might scare them into hiccups. He then disguises himself as a ninja and suddenly comes out doing karate stunts to scare them, but instead of being scared, the Blues laugh at him. Then Red decides to disguise himself with leaves and branches from the bush, but fails when Chuck accidentally mistakes him for a real monster and attacks him, ruining Red's plan. But Bomb, who is still behind the bush, comes up with another plan; light his fuse and explode with the Blues to scare them, so he begins to follow them to where Matilda and the nest are, but when she sees him Matilda stands in front to protect the eggs, and Bomb jumps with the lit fuse, finally exploding. Bomb thinks he has taken their hiccups away, but then the Blues hiccup again, so Bomb's plan has failed as well. But then Matilda realizes that due to the explosion, the mud from the ground fell on the Blues, leaving them dirty, so she decides to bathe them, taking out a brush and soap, but inadvertently scares the Blues unintentionally (since apparently they don't like bathrooms).

The Blues flee and hide under the blanket of their bed, then the other birds arrive to see what happens and Matilda lifts the blanket from the bed, still scared, and uses a trumpet to check if the Blues still have hiccups or not, and when seeing that no, all the birds rejoice. But suddenly more hiccups are heard, and the birds, believing that it is from the Blues, get upset, but these, sad, tell them that it was not them, and they realize that it was actually the eggs, which now have hiccups, causing everyone's surprise.

Curiosities

• Birds probably sometimes sleep in trees as shown in the episode. This is also shown in Angry Birds Go !.
• It is the second episode in which the eggs make any noise, the first being the Egg Sounds episode when one of them chirps at the end of the episode.
• When Matilda sees that the Blues get dirty with mud and decides to bathe them, they freak out, so they probably don't like baths.
