You and your friends often play Fortnite, the hugely popular Battle Royale title from Epic Games. The games are usually very hectic and your friends sometimes seem even too serious and concentrated while participating in the various game actions; so you thought that it would really be the best if you started talking to them through the microphone in a funny and unusual voice, like that of a robot, and thus relieved the general tension.
So you are wondering what are the simplest and most immediate solutions to put your intent into practice, I guessed it? Well then I think this tutorial is for you. On the Net, in fact, there are various software with which to change your voice while playing (and not only) and below I will recommend someone that I consider particularly valid, explaining to you how to change voice on Fortnite using it.
As for the console version of the game, things are a little less straightforward, but you can still change your voice timbre even then. How do you say? Can't wait to surprise your friends with "special effects"? So come on: make yourself comfortable and continue reading the guide. Have a good time!

How to change voice on Fortnite: PC
Are you a regular Fortnite player on PC? Well, then I'll proceed right away to show you a handy free third-party program that can allow you to edit your voice. It is about Clownfish Voice Changer, a particularly easy-to-use software that includes numerous voice filters that can be applied to the incoming audio on the microphone connected to your computer.
The program I am talking about is compatible with all versions of Windows (32 and 64 bit) starting with Vista and, as well as in Fortnite, it can be used with all platforms that allow you to make calls and video calls, such as Skype, Hangouts, Discord, TeamSpeak etc. and also on Steam.
To download it, all you have to do is visit the download page of the program's official website with any browser and click on button under which you can find the item relating to the version of your computer's operating system. Once the program is downloaded, open the file VoiceChanger [version number] .exe and rispondi Yes at the Windows User Account Control prompt.
To start the installation, click on the button Next placed at the bottom right three times in a row and then click on the button install. Once the process is complete, click the button again Next and then on the button Finish, but will conclude the setup.
Now that you have installed the program, to start it, just click on its icon (a orange vortex) appeared on the desktop or in the list of installed programs in the Windows Start menu.
Once opened, Clownfish Voice Changer will be displayed via a 'icon next towindows clock. To set the microphone on which to apply program effects, do click destroy on the above icon and select the item Configuration from the menu that opens. Then move the mouse pointer over the item Microphone and, from the menu that is proposed to you, select the microphone that you intend to use.
To open the program menu and select the effects to apply, do it again click destroy on 'program icon and select the item Set Voice Changer from the context menu. In the window that opens, click on each time icon placed at the top (that of child, the robot,alien and so on) to try the various filters available and choose the one to use.
To minimize audio feedback, do click destroy on 'icon of the program and then click on the item Listen to the microphone (this way you should remove the check mark from the latter). To limit the return echo, I also suggest that you do not speak too close to the microphone and move theindicator placed under the heading Microphone sensitivity.
Finally, if you want to disable Clownfish Voice Changer, just double-click its icon placed next to the Windows notification area (if I deactivate the program icon should appear gray, in any case, the program must always be kept active in the background for as long as you want to use it).
Now that you have everything you need to change your voice, all you have to do is start Fortnite and give it a try. Once you have the game open, select your preferred game mode from the home menu. Next, click on the ≡ icon at the top right and select the item Settings in the right menu.
Now click on thespeaker with the three waves next to it (above) and, to the voice Voice chat input device, make sure that the same one you paired with Clownfish is selected: if, for example, you use headphones with built-in microphone, scroll through the various devices with the arrows next to the last item mentioned and choose the device name you use. Finally, press the key A, to apply the changes.

How to change voice on Fortnite: PS4
You have the option to change your voice on the version as well PS4 di Fortnite, however, as I mentioned at the beginning, you will need a few more steps than seen on PC.
If you intend to carry out this operation "at no cost", ie without having to equip yourself with specific devices, the first option you have is to use the free application Remote playback available for Windows e MacOS, which allows you to play your PlayStation in streaming from your computer (or even from smartphones and tablets, but at this juncture we don't care). To use it, you will need a stable internet connection with download and upload speeds of at least 5 Mbps and a PlayStation Network account.
The PlayStation Remote Play application allows you to control from your computer PS4 e PS5 using mouse and keyboard or the same PlayStation controller): in this way, you will be able to use the same microphone you use on your computer to communicate on PS4, having the ability to disguise your voice using the program I showed you in the previous chapter.
So, once you have configured the program to disguise the voice on the PC, you can go through the download of the PlayStation Remote Play client. To do this, connect to this page and, if you intend to download the client on Windows, check the box next to the item relating to terms of the license agreement and press pulsating Download. If you use a Mac, instead open this page and repeat the last step.
When the download is complete, open theexecutable downloaded and, if you use Windows, press the buttons in succession Yes, OK e NEXT; check the box I accept the terms contained in the License Agreement and finish the setup by pressing on NEXT twice, Install e Ends. Now you need to switch to PS4 setup to use remote control: first make sure that the console firmware is updated to the latest version available, then go to the menu Settings> Remote Play Connection Settings and check the box placed next to the item Enable remote play. Next, go on Settings> Account Management> Activate as Primary PS4 and, from here, press the button X on the item Attiva.
Now you just have to go back to your computer and boot both Clownfish Voice Changer (or the other program you have chosen to edit the voice), is the client Remote playback (In the meantime, leave the PS4 on and make sure it is connected to the network). As soon as you opened Remote playback, award-winning Log in to PSN and log in to yours account PSN.
Then press the button PS4 and wait for the console to be detected. Now you can go directly to the console's boot menu and, from here, open Fortnite. The microphone is already active by default (if you want to deactivate it, just move the cursor to the bottom of the Remote Play window and click on theicon of microphone).
Other solutions to change voice on Fortnite PS4
If you have a phone or tablet available Android with entrance for Jack da 3.5 mm you can use some apps to change your voice by using your device as a microphone. Succeeding is very simple but you will need a jack cable da 3.5 mm with splitter (Cables of this type are also called a "Y" and have an audio jack input, a microphone jack input and a mixed jack output), you can buy them online or in electronics stores for a handful of euros.

All you need to do now is get the free app Voice Changer Mic for Gaming, the latter offers you many audio effects to modify your voice and in addition you also have the possibility to record your voice with the various filters available.
To download it, open this page of the Play Store (if your device does not have access to Google services, also check if the app in question is available on the alternative stores) and tap the button Install. Once the procedure is complete, start the app and press the virtual button of your phone or tablet that you use to return back and skip the introduction screen.
Tap, therefore, onicon of microphone located at the bottom right, on the main screen with the names of the characters and grant the application the necessary permissions to work by pressing the button While using the app and then on the button Allow. At this point, go back to the main page, select one of the available items you want to hire and press the icon microphone at the bottom.
Once you've selected the item that's right for you, launch Fortnite from the PS4 main menu and get ready to wow your friends! (when you want to go back to your vocal timbre and remove all filters, just press on the voice No effects) Finally, I inform you that to change your voice on PS4 you can also use a voice changer, which is a device that can change the voice timbre with some filters. You stai chiedendo how to change voice in Fortnite for Android? Unfortunately, I must inform you that, at the moment, there is no possibility to carry out this operation.
For the operating system of the green robot there are several applications suitable for changing your voice (I told you about it in depth in this guide) but none of them can work in the background while Fortnite is running.
