To proceed, you must choose if you want to receive the unlock code for subsequent authentication via email (by pressing ENABLE E-MAIL AUTHENTICATION) or using an Authenticator app, i.e. a software designed specifically to help the user make the most of two-factor authentication (by pressing ACTIVATE THE AUTHENTICATOR APP).
In case you choose to get the code through email, you will receive a message with a 6-digit number in your inbox. Once the message has been received, enter your code in the appropriate field and press the blue button CONTINUED. Perfect: from now on, during the next logins you will be asked to enter the security code that you will receive via email.
In case you want, instead, to take advantage of aapp Authenticator, you will need to download one of the supported applications to your smartphone or tablet, scan the QR Code (or insert the alphanumeric code provided), type the security code and press the blue button ACTIVE. Unfortunately, I cannot be more precise in my indications, since each application requires a different procedure. Once this is done, start Fortnite on your PlayStation 4 and select the mode Battle Royale. As soon as you enter, the game will welcome you by rewarding you with the Boogie Down dance. Perfect: Now press the button O (circle) of the controller to get the reward and close the page.
To equip the dance you just unlocked, press the button R1 of the controller and move to the tab LOCKER. Next, press the key X of the controller above one of the dance icons and select Boogie down. Mission accomplished! You have correctly set up the dance in question.

To unlock the game, all you have to do is enter the code every time you try to log in from a new platform.
Google Authenticator
One of the most used Authenticator apps on smartphones and tablets is certainly the one developed by Google. The software of the Californian company has in fact already been downloaded by tens of millions of users around the world.
To download and install the application in question, open the Play Store (if you have an Android device) or the App Store (if you use an iPhone or iPad), search for "google authenticator”And tap on the relative icon (a gray 'G' in the shape of a handle) in the search results. After that, press the button Installa / Ottieni and, if you are on iOS, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
Once the application has started, press on the item IT BEGINS, read the instructions that appear on the screen and select FINE. After that, tap on the item Read barcode o Enter code provided and, once your account is set up correctly, you will find a code to 6 digits always up to date, which you will need to enter when you try to log in from a new device.
LastPass Authenticator
Another two-factor authentication application you might want to consider is LastPass Authenticator, recommended by Epic Games itself in its official guidelines.
To use it, you must first download and install the application by opening the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), searching for "lastpass authenticator”And selecting the app icon (a white shield on a red background). At this point, tap the button Installa / Ottieni and, if you are on iOS, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password in case you are asked.

In case the solutions I described above have not convinced you, you could try using the Authenticator application developed by Microsoft.
To install Microsoft Authenticator, launch the Play Store (if you are using Android) or the App Store (from an iPhone or iPad), search for "microsoft authenticator”And select the relevant icon (a white padlock on a blue background) from the search results. Once this is done, click on the item Installa / Ottieni and, if you are on iOS, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
After starting the application, press on the item INTRODUCTION and then on OK. At this point, press the blue button '+'in the center of the page and select the option Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.). After that, tap on the item Allow and framing the QR Code to add your account, in case you haven't already. Perfect: now, on the page that appears, you will find a code updated every 30 seconds, which you will need to enter when you log into Fortnite from a new platform.
Authy 2-Factor Authentication
Authy 2-Factor Authentication is one of the applications for two-factor authentication most appreciated by users, thanks to the numerous types of compatible accounts. It is also among the software recommended by Epic Games.
To take advantage of this service, you must first download and install the application on your smartphone or tablet: to do this, open the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), search for "authy”And select the app icon (two white 'U' on a red background) from the search results. After that, tap on the item Installa / Ottieni and, if you are on iOS, verify your identity using Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password.
Once the application is launched, enter yours cellphone number and prefix of your country (+39 in the case of El country) and press the blue button OK. After that, enter yours email address and choose whether to verify by call (by pressing on PHONE CALL) or by message (by pressing on SMS). Either way, you will be provided with a code to be entered in the appropriate field. Perfect, you have now created your Authy account.
At this point, press the blue button '+'present in the center of the page and insert the password in backup and confirmation of the backup password (keep these in mind, you will need them to recover your Auty account in case you need them). Once this is done, click on the item ENABLE BACKUPS and then on the black button SCAN QR CODE (to scan the QR code) or on the blue entry Enter key manually (to insert the appropriate code). Once this is done, tap on the item DONE and a page will appear where you will find the code always updated security, which you will have to enter in Fortnite, in case you are required.
