If you are wondering how to get free skins on Fortnite, the main method you should consider is definitely the one related to Pass Battle, or the game mechanics that allow you to get rewards every time you level up.
In fact, costumes are often "bestowed" just like rewards of the Battle Pass of the current Season. Put simply, every so often the game's developers, or Epic Games, decide to launch a new Season, changing the cards on the table a little. Generally a season is tough several months and has a Battle Pass with 100 levels (or anyway 10 pages).

In this context, you can choose which reward to unlock, spending the number of stars required for each element.
In fact, you just need to go to the BATTLE PASS section of the game and take a look at the pages at your disposal, then choosing what to get. In any case, each page has requirements to be unlocked. The most convenient method of obtaining the latter, which generally costs 950 V-Buck in basic version or 2.800 V-Buck in the variant with 25 levels included (alternatively, I remind you for 11,99 euros per month you can subscribe to the Fortnite Crew subscription, which includes the Battle Pass, 1.000 V-Buck per month and other exclusive benefits), it is clearly to go for the micro-transactions, so spend real money. However, if you have come this far it is probably because you want to achieve everything free of charge. Well, in this case you have to know that it is possible, but clearly a lot more time is required. In fact, you should keep going play Fortnite for various Seasons, taking advantage of the rewards of the free Battle Pass and choosing to sbloccare i V-Buck whenever the latter are included among the available prizes.
In any case, generally the Battle Pass rewards allow you to get 100 V-Buck at a time and therefore in the course of a single Season there may be very few V-Bucks to get for free. In fact, Epic Games usually launches from time to time competitions which all users can participate in. Generally these tournaments are played in pairs and best teams of each region can unlock exclusive skins, for example those of Cammy from Street Fighter or J Balvin.
To be clear, usually the games to be played are a maximum of 10 and the duration of the Cups is often equal to 3 hours. In this time frame, you will have to try to get as many points as possible, in order to get the freecoveted costume up for grabs for the best players in each region.
In any case, I recommend that you keep the screen monitored COMPETITION of the Battle Royale mode of Fortnite, as Epic Games is used to communicate through the latter the initiatives of this type.
