In fact, with today's tutorial I'll explain how to improve aim on Fortnite PS4 showing you how to improve your accuracy by using both the controller and mouse and keyboard as the input method. All this, of course, without using any tricks or hacks whatsoever, but simply putting a little goodwill into learning the basic mechanics of the game.

How to improve aiming in Fortnite with the PS4 controller
The first thing to do to learn how to improve aim on Fortnite PS4 is to become familiar with the controller of the Sony console and put into practice some simple tricks during the course of your games.
The tips that I will give you below are made up of basic actions which, however, are very often forgotten due to the frenzy of Fortnite.
You have happened to shoot without aiming to try to hit the enemy as fast as possible, right? Well, you have to try to proceed more calmly and to always aim at the enemy, even when it seems impossible to hit him. The controls with the pad can in fact play tricks and I assure you that it is always better to aim the enemy before shooting. You will see that this will increase the hit rate.
Another piece of advice I can give you is to do not jump while you are shooting. This operation is in fact particularly complex to carry out with the controller, given the lower sensitivity compared to other input methods. If you jump too much while shooting, you risk missing most of your shots.
Also, I remind you that, by playing Fortnite with the controller, you can take advantage of the aim assist, implemented directly by the developers to facilitate battles between players using the pad. To take advantage of it, you just have to aim for the opponent's head, in order to attempt a critical hit, quickly press the key L2 of the pad and then shoot with the button R2. If everything has been done correctly, the aim assist will do its duty and you will have performed a "headshot", ie a perfect headshot!
Use mouse and keyboard
Despite the fact that the primary input method for playing on the PlayStation 4 is the controller, many players decide to connect mouse and keyboard to the console, in order to use your favorite peripherals, which by all accounts ensure greater precision in Fortnite battles.
To use mouse and keyboard on PS4, simply connect your keyboard and mouse via USB o Bluetooth to the console. If you have USB devices (or with USB receivers), you just have to go to the toolbar top of the PS4 main screen and press the button X of the pad its Settings (the briefcase icon).
After that, select the item devices and visit the cards External keyboard e Mouse: the latter allow you to check the operation of the peripherals, also setting the speed of the pointer and other useful options to improve the gaming experience.
In case you have, instead, of Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, all you have to do is go back to the screen devices of the Settings PS4 and select the item Bluetooth devices. At this point, activate the pairing mode devices and press the button X of the pad above device name which will appear on the screen. Some keyboards may require you to type a code of confirmation (usually it is 0000, or it can be found in the device manual).
If everything went right, you will be able to navigate the PlayStation 4 main menu via the directional arrows keyboard. By default, the button Submit replaces the key X of the pad, while Esc takes the place of the button O. In any case, I remind you that players who use this input method on PlayStation are placed on servers that include only other users who play with mouse and keyboard, so as not to make the games too unbalanced. I can assure you that in this way you will be able to significantly improve your aim in Fortnite.
Adjust the Fortnite settings
Another trick that I recommend you take to improve your aim in Fortnite is to test the various possibilities offered by the game's settings. In fact, the title of Epic Games allows you to change several options that also affect the aim.
To access the Fortnite settings, all you need to do is go to the main mode screen Battle Royale of the game, press the button Options of the pad and select the voice Settings. After that, press the key R1 to go to the card of theicona dell'ingranaggio: here you will find all the items that are right for you.
If you are using a controller, the fields to consider are Wireless Controller Sensitivity X, Wireless Y controller sensitivity, Motion sensitivity wireless controller e Wireless controller viewfinder sensitivity: By changing these options and finding your ideal configuration, you can greatly improve your aim in Fortnite for PlayStation 4.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to give precise suggestions on which values to set, since each user needs an ad hoc configuration. For this reason, I simply invite you to try editing these fields and see which values best suit your needs.
If, on the other hand, you want to use mouse and keyboard, the fields to modify are: Mouse sensitivity, Sensitivity aims mouse, Mouse sensitivity X e Mouse sensitivity Y. Also in this case it is difficult to give advice on which values to set and therefore I recommend that you try to see which ones suit your style of play.
I remind you that, once finished, you have to press the button triangle of the controller to apply the changes to the settings. In case you want to go back, you can restore the original values by pressing the key square of the pad.
How to improve Fortnite pump aim
One of the favorite weapons of Fortnite players is the Shotgun, as it is capable of doing a lot of damage to enemies. Despite this, the very nature of the weapon often prevents you from aiming as you would like, making it difficult to place shots. However, there are some tricks to put into practice to improve the aim.
Well, the first thing I recommend doing is take the enemy from above. Aiming with the shotgun is in fact much easier if you are on top of a building or a construction and you fall on the enemy catching him unawares.

Another very useful method to use the shotgun is to combine it with the grapple. In fact, the latter allows you to quickly get close to the enemy: at that point, aiming and shooting the enemy will be particularly simple.

There are also other useful tips that can improve aiming in Fortnite: below I report those that I believe to be the most important.
- Know the weapons of the game - Fortnite has several weapons and each of them has different characteristics, both in terms of damage and in terms of aim. For this reason, it is important to learn how each weapon works, thus mastering it properly. - Train often - it may seem trivial, but training is certainly important to improve your aim. Getting results in this regard is not easy and I can assure you that professional players have taken several games to reach their current level. In short, you just have to play Fortnite as much as possible and learn from your mistakes.
- Predict the moves of the opponents - although predicting what other opponents are about to do is a rather difficult action, there are simple techniques that allow you to do just that. One of them is called "pre-fire" and consists of aiming the sight in the direction in which the opponent is expected to move and fire. That way, if the enemy makes that move, you'll already have a competitive advantage.
- Learn from the pros - one of the best ways to improve your aim in Fortnite is to carefully observe the games of professional gamers, learning to grasp even the smallest nuances. Often, in fact, the difference is made by small tricks, which allow the player to obtain advantages over the opponent.
