We are basically talking about a cube that you can build around yourself. In this way you simply place four walls around you, a floor and a roof in the shape of a peak. This will allow you to be protected on each of the sides, and if you see that an enemy tries to destroy one of the walls, you can always edit it to put another and in this way you will be with a kind of fortress in which almost no one will be able to enter.
And it is called the turtle technique because the idea with this construction is that you move slowly through the stage, ideal for the last moments of the storm. In this way you will simply have to edit one of the walls, place a floor further forward and reposition the four remaining walls and the roof in the shape of a peak.
The greatest risk that exists with this technique is when moving a tile forward. Because in that sense we have to edit one of the walls to immediately move forward and recreate the same structure of the turtle as quickly as possible. Here we can be exposed to a shot from an enemy that is waiting for us from outside.
What certain players do is, when they have to move forward, not directly edit the wall in front of them, but first put a cone or pyramid under them. Once with this, what they do is edit the wall in front of them and leave a window. And through it create another turtle structure on the front tile. Now they simply crouch down and move on to the new structure they have created in front, and repeat the process again. This will allow them to avoid one shot or another.

In this case we can go up to the roof of the turtle and place two walls so that they make a corner. Then in the corner that has been made we can use the pick and we will see that we can fall to the lower floor in a fairly quick and easy way to eliminate the opposite.
With a rocket launcher or grenades
If you have a rocket launcher at hand, you can do the same as the above, that is, positioning two walls to make a corner on the roof, and use the rocket launcher.
