Preliminary information
Before going into the details of the procedure on how to unlock The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda on Fortnite, I think it might interest you to know a little more about the event that led to the beginning of the Season 5 of Chapter 2 of the Epic Games title.
Well, the 1 December 2022 there was the end event of Season 4, which is the one in which it was possible to unlock Wolverine. Myriads of players joined for defeat Galactus, the gigantic Eater of Worlds, in a battle accessible only on the El Paese evening of the set day.
The epic clash, which also saw the participation of several season 4 superheroes, from Iron Man a Thor passing through the aforementioned Wolverine, ended with the players who have defeated Galactus entering its phalanxes with explosive Battle Buses.
Despite Galactus's defeat, the map has however been altered. For example, in Season 5 the center of it rises a sandy area chock full of purple crystals, As well as of side chases. The Marvel heroes of Season 4 have fled the area, but gods have come in their place characters from various worlds.

How to unlock The Mandalorian on Fortnite
The Mandalorian is probably the easiest character to unlock in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
Indeed, the protagonist of the well-known TV series, also known as The Mandalorian, is obtained at the Battle Pass level 1. Therefore, it is enough to buy the latter to be able to use the skin of The Mandalorian.
If you don't know how to do it, I remind you that just access the main menu of the mode Battle Royale, move to the tab BATTLE PASS and press the button first BUY BATTLE PASS and then on the key CONFIRM PURCHASE, or CONFIRM AND ADD 25 LEVELS.
The cost of the basic package is usually 950 V-Buck, while if you want also 25 levels included, you can get them by shelling out 2800 V-Buck. I remind you that V-Bucks are the virtual currency of the game, obtainable both in the way free, through Basic Battle Pass, which through real money.

In any case, once you have obtained The Mandalorian skin, you can set it by going to the tab LOCKER, by pressing oncostume icon (top left first), by selecting the Il Mandalorian skin e premendo sul pulsating SAVE AND EXIT.
How to defeat The Mandalorian in Fortnite
How do you say? You have heard that it is possible defeat The Mandalorian on Fortnite? They didn't lie to you: it can actually be done.
Indeed, Epic Games has positioned a Mandalorian controlled by artificial intelligence within the game map. The latter is present in every game and you can find it in the area of Razor crest, or the crashed ship that belongs to The Mandalorian.
La Razor Crest is located near the Colosseum Colossal and the enemy is in that area to "watch" it. The Mandalorian will attack you right away doing a lot of damage and it's not exactly easy to defeat him, but picking up some powerful weapons and using your skills shouldn't have any particular problems.
The reward that is provided by defeating this enemy is his equipment, which you can use in the match where you defeated The Mandalorian (there are no prizes you can keep once the match is over). More specifically, by defeating The Mandalorian you will get the Mandalorian's Jetpack and Amban sniper rifle.
Watch out for other players: I remind you that many crave these items, as they can actually give a competitive advantage to those who wield them during the Battle Royale.
How to power up the Mandalorian on Fortnite (Beskar assignments)
Once you have the Mandalorian costume, you need to know that it is possible upgrade his armor by carrying out some "missions".
More precisely, as you will have already noticed if you went to the Pass Battle, you need to complete the Beskar assignments. Put simply, the latter consist in carrying out various missions related to the Mandalorian, accessible by pressing the button NEW ASSIGNMENTS / VIEW ASSIGNMENTS present in the main menu of the Battle Royale.
The tasks to be completed are those that present theobjects icon (and not XP) to their right. These missions cannot all be completed immediately, but you have to proceed "step by step".
In fact, the missions below are unlocked as you level up in the Battle Pass. I will try not to make too many spoilers in the course of this guide, but inevitably I will have to explain some details to you well, so I could anticipate some information.
Visit the Razor Crest
The first Beskar assignment that the player comes into contact with, since level 1 of the Battle Pass, is the one relating to Razor crest, or the spacecraft of The Mandalorian.
Finding the Razor Crest is very simple: just go near the Colosseum Colossal and enter the destroyed spaceship area. In the map there is just the drawing of the Razor Crest. The goal is all there: you don't even need to defeat the Mandalorian that you will find in the area.
In any case, the area is the same that I showed you in the chapter on how to defeat The Mandalorian.
This mission allows you to unlock the upgrade for the right shoulder of The Mandalorian.
Earn commendations from the weapons specialist
The second Beskar assignment that can be unlocked in Season 5 of Chapter 2 of Fortnite is the one related to commendations from weapons specialist. This mission can be carried out starting from level 15 of the Battle Pass.
The player is prompted to get 5 commendations of this type. To get the latter, you just need it take weapons and use them as much as possible, arriving at a total number of damages that will allow you to get the recognition: usually it is 250/150 damage in a match.
I don't have much advice to give you, other than playing as many games as possible and trying to use the same weapons, until I reach 5 awards.
This mission unlocks the upgrade for the left shoulder of the Mandalorian.
Collect 500 gold bars
Once you get to the level 29 of the Battle Pass, you will be prompted to collect 500 gold bars.
The simplest way is to do the sizes, which allow you to obtain 70 gold bars each. To do this, just talk to one of the NPC present on the map, marked by thefumetto icon, and confirm the size.
In this way, you will see a appear at the top right of the map yellow radar which will allow you to go looking for prey. Once the affected user is defeated, you will be given your 70 gold bars.
If you want some advice, a useful NPC is Dead flame, found in the small cottage present near the Colosseum Colossal. Here you can usually often find one golden case under the stairs or upstairs, so you can collect some loot early in the game. Also, you are in the sandy area, so you just have to hold your character still for a few seconds to go under the ground and be able to move faster.
Pay attention to the fact that theinvolved user knows he has a size on the head and also has a special one threat bar to understand how close you are. In short, it might not be exactly child's play, but sizes are definitely the quickest way to get bars.
In any case, I remind you that you can get bars too defeating enemies and collecting their loot or opening crates. You just have to play a few games and you will see that you will reach your goal. This assignment unlocks the upgrade for the right thigh of The Mandalorian.
Find Beskar's steel in the shark's bowels
The item quest in the shark's gut unlocks at level 41 of the Battle Pass. In this case it is a play on words, as you do not have to search for a real shark, but for theisland with a shark-shaped rock.
The latter is found in top left of the map, above Coral Castle. Once you reach it, go to the intermediate floor and look for the caveau portal. You shouldn't have any particular problems finding it by circumnavigating the structure.
After entering it, you will find some shelves: above one of them you will find theBeskar object what are you looking for. You just have to collect it.
This mission allows you to obtain the upgrade for the left thigh of The Mandalorian.
Defeat Hustle and bustle
Arrived at level 60 of the Battle Pass, you will be prompted to participate in a sort of "boss fight".
More precisely, you will have to defeat Hustle and bustle, enemy who is in the building Hydro 16, halfway between Paltano Throbbing e Misty moors. Once inside the special building, you will notice the enemy due to the presence of a Exclamation point above it: this makes you understand that it is not another player.
In any case, Hustle and bustle is a character that certainly stands out, as he often moves with a rocket launcher in hand. Just the latter could give you a bit of a hard time, but in reality I can assure you that with a little commitment and maybe protecting you with the elements of the scenario you will be able to complete your goal.
Obviously, pay attention to the other players, as Trambusto is a coveted prey, also given the equipment he leaves on the ground. Either way, this mission allows you to get the upgrade for the right arm of The Mandalorian.
Find Beskar Steel where the sky meets the earth
This assignment uses a play on words: without too much delay, you must go to the highest mountain in the game, which is the Mount Kay. The mission unlocks at level 73 of the Battle Pass.
The latter is located at the bottom right of the map, in the area below Gattogrill. Once you reach the peak (you can safely go down to that area early in the game), you will notice the presence of one flag and some breakage.
Reach the area in question and you will find theBeskar object you are looking for, marked with a blue light. In short, nothing difficult: just pay attention to other users.
This assignment grants you the upgrade for the left arm of The Mandalorian.
Complete a legendary assignment
Once you reach the level 83 of the Battle Pass, Fortnite will ask you to complete a legendary assignment.
In this case, I recommend that you check the available assignments through the appropriate section accessible from the main menu of the Battle Royale mode. Legendary Missions are those marked in Orange and are usually located at the top of the screen.
Unfortunately, I cannot be more specific about it, as the assignments change with the passage of time. However, just to give you an example, in my case I was asked to complete some sizes.
This mission unlocks the upgrade for the bust of The Mandalorian.
Complete a size
Before I explain how to carry out this assignment, let me compliment you. In fact, this mission unlocks at level 100 of the Battle Pass and if you have achieved this it means that you have played a lot of Fortnite.
It is therefore almost superfluous to explain how complete a size, since by the way I have already illustrated it in the chapter on how to collect gold bars. In any case, the advice is always to contact the NPC Dead flame, which is located near the Colosseum Colossal.
This mission allows you to obtain The Mandalorian's latest armor upgrade, related to the helmet. Great, you have now completed all the relevant missions.
I remind you that, to apply the power-ups, you just need to go to the section LOCKER, select the skin de The Mandalorian e premere sul pulsating CHANGE STYLE. From here you can select and apply the upgrades that you have unlocked.
How to unlock Baby Yoda in Fortnite
Yellow. The child. Baby Yoda. Call him by the name you prefer, but there is no doubt that the iconic character, particularly in vogue because of the TV series The Mandalorian di Disney +, is among the most coveted by Fortnite players during Season 5 of Chapter 2.
In any case, Baby Yoda is not playable, but it is a so-called decorative back. Put simply, if in Season 4 it was possible to unlock the little Groot for place it behind your character main, in Season 5 this role is played by The Child.

Not many were expecting it, but Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 brought with it too Kratos. Announced a few days after the Galactus event, the skin pack dedicated to the iconic protagonist of the series God of War has come up all platforms, Xbox and mobile devices included.
The Kratos Skin Pack, which includes the Kratos costume,Ax of the Leviathan, the Shield of the Guardian,Ice Burst emote and Mimir decorative back, is available directly in the Shop at a cost of 2.200 V-Buck.

After bringing Kratos from God of War, Epic Games has brought another iconic character from the world of video games to Fortnite: Master Chief, straight from Halo.

How gold bars and bounties work in Fortnite
In conclusion of this guide, it seems fair to give you some details that could be useful to you in Season 5 of Chapter 2 of Fortnite. More precisely, I think it is interesting to dwell for a moment on gold bars and sizes.
In fact, these innovations introduce several new features within the Epic Games title. THE gold bars they are in fact a cumulative currency between the various games: you can see how much the bars are at your disposal using theappropriate icon that appears on the screen on the right, next to the construction elements.
I have already explained to you how to get gold bars quickly in the chapter relating to the specific assignment, but it is also good to know what the latter are for. Well, as you move around the map you will encounter gods NPC, characters who are not hostile (unless you accidentally hurt them, so be careful).
These characters, marked byfumetto icon present on the map, allow, in addition to accessing the sizes, to make you buy items (e.g. weapons) or other. For example, the character Mancake, located in a house south of the central desert area, can be recruited by spending a certain number of ingots.
Put simply, you can too get help in battle from this NPC, who will follow you and allow you to have an additional advantage in the course of the Battle Royale.
