jailbreak is a prison escape game / Cops-And-Robbers (cops and robbers) developed by asimo3089 and badcc. It was created in January 2017 and released on April 1, 2017. This game has peaked in most concurrent players in a single game on Roblox alongside MeepCity, beating the 2017 ROBLOX Easter Egg Hunt game with approximately 85,000 players. It was the second game to reach 200 million views in less than a year and the first to reach 250 million views in less than a year. On December 23, the game for 121,000 concurrent players, a new Roblox record. To this day, it remains among the most popular games, maintained by Badimo's strategic planning for the release of updates.
Jailbreak takes a lot of inspiration from Prison Life by Aesthetical and Redwood Prison by RoyStanford but focuses more on the game outside of prison. It looks very different, but uses similar weapons. Prison Life and Redwood Prison are losing almost half of their players since Jailbreak came out, even though it was already in popularity. He won 13 awards at the fifth annual Bloxy Awards. 2018.
The game has been praised for being much more mobile-friendly than Prison Life, primarily because Prison Life lacks a running, crawling, and punching GUI, as well as car mechanics that are currently incompatible with mobile.
Jailbreak continues the tradition of cops and robbers, with two playable teams known as Police and Prisoner (Criminal). The police are at the police station in the prison, at the police base near the city or at the military base. All players can use C to crouch, F to hit, and hold shift while walking to run. The police show up with three things:
- Gun: Damage prisoners and criminals from a distance.
- Wives: Sending prisoners and criminals to their cells.

Using the key card, you can escape from the prison and become a criminal. However, police officers will be notified of this theft and can pursue and arrest you without penalty. Sometimes there may be items in the drawers and you can carry them around, like weapons and cards. The police can also put hands and children in the air, but unfortunately it does not work for prisoners. You can store items in the drawers for later, but it can only be stored in one drawer at a time. If you are a police officer and you continually kill or arrest innocent prisoners who have not bypassed prison security, have not obtained a weapon / key card, and have not been a police officer recently, you are warned. If this process of trying to arrest innocent prisoners is repeated, they will be forced to join the prisoner team. This can also reduce your total money bill, which can be obtained by arresting criminals.

Most fans of Prison Life and Redwood Prison criticize Jailbreak arguing that it is a copy of said games. Other users believe that it is invalid as the game focuses more on the heists than on its title aspect, which is the escape. In an Aesthetical tweet, Aesthetical asks if Jailbreak could stop stealing players. Badimo has said that while they took a lot of inspiration from these previous games, the main point of creating Jailbreak was that they wanted to expand on the criminal life that didn't unfold in Prison Life or Redwood.
