Jerez is a rogue-personality horse neighbor introduced in Dōbutsu no Mori e +.

    Summary

    Etymology

    • Its Japanese name, Schwartz, means "black" in German, reflecting the color of Jereza's skin.
    • His English name, Roscoe, comes from the award-winning horseman, Roscoe Goose.
    • Its Spanish name, Jereza, comes from the Andalusian city of Jerez, which is where the best breed horses come from.
    • Its name in Spanish could also refer to the game of chess, a game whose squares are black and white as well as the appearance of Jereza and his house.

    Appearance

Jereza is a black horse with a dark gray mane, his eyes are red with small black pupils and when he gets angry, the whites of his eyes turn yellow. The insides of their ears are dark purple. Initially he wears a chess T-shirt, which matches the theme of his house. Jereza appears to represent a chess horse.

    Personality

Jereza has a fastidious personality and will generally appear to be agitated and in a bad mood and is more difficult to befriend than other types of neighbors. When talking to the Player, he tends to get angry if the player disagrees with him or refuses to do him a favor. Like all itchy neighbors, Jereza is elderly and will invest his time in his hobby, frequently challenging the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with sporty, haughty and other prickly neighbors, and sometimes lazy and sweet neighbors as well. However, she will find it difficult to socialize with the vivacious neighbors, due to her overstimulated and immature demeanor. Jereza will also enjoy spreading rumors about other neighbors.

    Home

In Dōbutsu no Mori e +, Jereza has the same house as Albino, only changing the wallpaper and the floor which is the lattice wall and the modern floor respectively, he reproduces Tota-requiem on a golden chain and has two gansoids.

At Wild World and City Folk, Jereza's house has a modern theme, with lots of furniture from the modern series. Jereza also has two chess pieces in his room: the white knight and the black knight. He also has a baby bear who, to some, seems out of place for a rambunctious neighbor. In Wild World, he has a plant, a gasoline thing, a modern lamp and a modern sofa, a white chess piece, and a candle. If you get a stereo, it will play Tota-requiem. At City Folk, he has a modern sofa.

In New Leaf, Jereza's house is furnished mostly with items from the tubes series, along with a ficus benjamina and a metal guitar and amplifier.
