At the beginning of the game Tom Nook will give you a Uniform and ask you to do various jobs:

Don't come back until you have greeted everyone, even the mayor in the town hall!"
- Deliver some requests to the neighbors, Tom Nook will ask you to deliver a series of objects to several neighbors, they will ask you for the date of birth and in return they will give you an object. If you use an object Tom Nook will tell you: "Leave that, it's for the customers, you're working here for the moment!" After a few deliveries you will have to write a letter to a certain neighbor thanking him for buying in the store and advising him of sales, if you waste a Tom Nook will give you a new one. After more deliveries, including a Watering Can to the same neighbor you sent the letter to, the neighbor will show you the letter.
- Finally, you will have to write an announcement on the Town Hall Notice Board advertising the Nook Stores.
