Appearance
Kidd in Animal Forest e+
Kidd is a lavender goat with a brown tuft of hair and half opened eyes with darker purple eyelids. The insides of his ears are pink, and his horns are striped yellow and orange. His hooves are yellow and the tip of his tail is colored brown, the same as his hair tuft. He has no visible mouth. In New Horizons, he has subtle brown-colored irises.
In earlier games, his initial clothing was the Blue Aloha Shirt, which changed to a Waistcoat in New Leaf, and changed again to a Tailored Jacket in New Horizons.
Personality
Kidd's personality changes from a lazy islander in Animal Forest e+ to a smug villager in New Leaf.
In Animal Forest e+
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here. |
As a lazy villager, Kidd will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Kidd will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a lifestyle of exercise and fitness, which conflicts with the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal, peppy, smug and sisterly villagers, and occasionally cranky villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.
In New Leaf
Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here. |
Smug villagers are very polite, kind, and gentleman-like. As a smug villager, Kidd will get along easily with other villagers. Smug villagers get along well with most villagers, their personality appearing to be a mix of the other personality types. Smug villagers will stroke their egos from time to time, going on about how cool they are.
Generally, Kidd will get along with lazy, normal, snooty and peppy villagers, and may conflict with cranky villagers.
House
In New Leaf, Kidd has the common wall. He has a sloppy table and many appliances. These appliances include a refrigerator, sink, oven, fan, washer & dryer, and an ironing set. He has a clothesline pole next to the washer & dryer. On his hi-fi stereo he has Comrade K.K. playing.
In New Horizons, Kidd's house has a relaxed atmosphere, with black, white, gray, and purple furniture. In the middle of his house, there's a white double sofa and white fireplace with a phonograph that plays K.K. Tango. In the lower-left corner of his house, there is a black marble long bathtub, with a black bathroom towel rack and shower set above it, and a tankless toilet next to it. He also has a rattan bed and rattan end table with a tissue box from the Rattan set, as well as a Monstera and rocket lamp. For wallpaper, he uses the Gray Molded-panel Wall, and for flooring, he uses the Purple Desert-tile Flooring.

Kidd's preferred theme is civic. His profile says:
Kidd's personal motto is "dress to impress." But he doesn't just apply that to his wardrobe. He'll dress up whatever he can, much to the annoyance of his pet goldfish.
