El Lalalá Day (La-Di-Day in English) is an Animal Crossing: Wild World event where you can get the tune you've always wanted for your people.
About this day
Villagers participate in a contest for a new town melody, with the exception of those neighbors who are sick, leaving, or settling in. The neighbors will try to impress the player with their melody, so the player can go to all the animals and find the melody that he likes the most. The songs that the player would like to be the new town melody must be answered with "I contract you", and the song will immediately become your town melody and you can go to the town hall to modify it a bit (as is normal). If the player does not like the song or does not want it to become the melody of the town, they should answer: "It is not enough." In spring and summer it begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 15:00 p.m. but in winter and autumn it begins at 18:00 p.m. and ends at 0:00 a.m.
