Each filtering bag lazy (also known as "vacant") are neighbors who have a certain personality from the Animal Crossing series. The name refers to their relaxed, calm and calm lifestyle, which is in keeping with their hospitable nature and their love of food. Currently, there are 74 lazy neighbors, four of them (Germán, Ricardo, Cabrálex and Bovi) had this personality before New Leaf.

    Summary

    Features

As for appearance, many lazy neighbors with droopy eyes and a vague smile are depicted. Often they also appear to be younger than most of the neighbors. However, some sloths appear to be much older at times, or have filled their homes with antique-style furniture, such as Crispin, Nachete, or Sven, implying that these lazy neighbors are actually very old. Therefore, they can vary in age depending on their behavior.

    Behavior

Lazy neighbors have a laid back and calm, sometimes arrogant approach to living in the village. They seem somewhat hospitable or friendly in the way they talk and generally chat about their hobbies.

In Wild World, they can mention reading a never seen magazine called "Siesta Magazine", which also reflects their laid back and calm lifestyle. They often bring up theories related to certain aspects of the town, which they will bring up in conversation with the player or other neighbors. For example, some lazy neighbors will wonder out loud who should sit inside the Nook Terminal to speak.

Often times, they will bring up their beliefs that Nook Warehouses have a basement full of Tom Nook stuffed animals. They also express a fascination with Tom Nook's fluffy tail, and sometimes ask for copies of the hidden comic, Bagel Boy. They talk about doing activities like fishing, hunting insects, digging fossils, planting flowers, and having good fashion. Lazy neighbors often ask the player to catch a bug or dig a fossil, among others, depending on what hobby they like to do at the time.

Once the player befriends a lazy neighbor, he will tell made-up stories usually related to the player. As in his dreams, other times he will not tell his stories to the player because he will fear that he will not like them. Most of the time they won't insult anyone, but sometimes they can, even though they are very kind and open-minded. They also tend to dramatize when sick, and often pronounce "medicine" as "bedycin." They also sometimes make suggestive phrases for the player.

Lazy neighbors usually go to sleep at 22:00 PM and wake up at 08:00 AM at Animal Crossing. In Wild World and City Folk, they usually go to sleep at 01:30 and wake up at 08:00. In New Leaf, they go to sleep at 23:00 PM and wake up at 09:00 AM, and in New Horizons they sleep between 23:00 PM and 08:00 AM.

Lazy ducks tend to ask if the player wants to hear a scary story. Of course, this is also common with other species of lazy neighbors, but if the player says yes, they will tell him that the mayor's favorite food is duck.

In New Leaf, if a lazy neighbor visits the player's village as a camper, they will mention how good the local fruit is.

    Relationships

Lazy neighbors are often the easiest to make friends with. To do this, the player can simply send gifts by letter to the chosen neighbor and repeatedly talk to him. The player can easily receive his photo. Depending on the game, this can have various benefits: If the lazy neighbor does not move out of town for a long time, the player will receive cards with gifts often. A lazy neighbor is always nice to the player; If the player is female, they will probably receive chocolate from them on Valentine's Day, and at New Leaf, they will host the player's birthday.

They find it easy to get along and talk to other neighbors, including the player. They get along well with other lazy, cheerful and normal neighbors by being nice to each other. Sweet neighbors will get along with lazy neighbors, appreciating how laid-back and hospitable they are. Lazy neighbors also get along with snobbish neighbors, because snobs have a laid-back sense of humor, which lazy people find amusing. Grumpy neighbors will also get along with lazy neighbors as they too enjoy the slow lifestyle and will have a similar outlook on life.

On the other hand, athletic neighbors will find it difficult to get along with them due to their conflicting relaxation lifestyles compared to the sporty lifestyle of exercise and fitness. Snooty neighbors also find it difficult to get along with them due to their laid-back style and lack of obsession with their physical appearance. Normal neighbors may conflict with them at times, but they will not get angry, annoyed or confused, because the arguments usually revolve around the lazy neighbor subtly suggesting that they prepare food for them. They sometimes get grumpy when talking to normal, sweet or athletic neighbors, and it can make other neighbors feel sad.
