    Men

Men is a Clash Royale common rarity card that can be obtained from the Training Ground (Tutorial) arena.

    Strategy

    • It can survive every damage-dealing spell in the game despite its low cost of 3 Elixir. This means that it can also act as a lightning rod to protect more fragile troops on defense, such as a Musketeer or an Electric Dragon.
    • The Knight can be used as a tank for smaller troops like Goblins. It's a great card to use in front of a mini-attack.
    • It has great synergy in particular with the Spell Bait decks, and with the Barrel of Goblins. In Spell Bait decks, it's a cheap mini-tank that can be used to attack with the Barrel of Goblins, making the Goblins much more difficult to destroy if a Bolt or Snowball is your only spell. . In defense, it is the main tank on deck that helps against major attacks.
    • The Knight also decently counters a Barrel of Goblins, if it's his only option, this one defeats the Goblins in one fell swoop. It should be placed on the lower left side of the player's Tower of Crowns, so that he can eliminate the Goblin that the tower is not attacking; this allows for more effective damage distribution among the player's units and often results in less damage taken.
    • The Knight's average attack speed and that he attacks a single unit make him somewhat weak for swarms. However, since his damage per hit is high enough to defeat Goblins in one hit, swarms with a lower number of troops should be placed further away from him so that fewer of them are eliminated during the deployment time. and they can fight back.
    • The Knight has enough health and damage along with a low enough cost to counter support troops with low hit points or low damage like a Musketeer or Executioner. With the help of a Tower of Crowns, the Knight can neutralize several 1 on 1, such as a Prince or even a Giant Skeleton.
    • A Knight can be used to prime enemy swarms or their response to tanks, allowing a more threatening tank like a Giant to have an easier time on the offensive.
    • It can be supported with Skeletons, Goblins, or Spear Goblins to quickly deal great damage in attack or defense. If the opponent tries to eliminate one of the two units, the overall economic cost of the combo often gives the player enough time to back up the other. When defending against this push, area damage and air troops are the most efficient way to clean it up.
    • A lone Knight will deal great damage to a Tower of Crowns on his own, taking just under half his health before being defeated. Cheap troops like Skeletons can take it to the center and negate most of its damage.
    • With the help of a Tower of Crowns, the Knight can defeat a Mega Knight only to gain a 4 Elixir advantage as long as the Mega Knight jump is avoided. Another method is to deploy it in the center of the player's zone, so that both Crown Towers attack the Mega Knight.
    • The Knight can be used as a cheap tank for an enemy Crossbow. If the player knows that the Crossbow user cannot block it in time, it will deal a good amount of damage for 3 elixir.

    Counterstrategy

    • However, if the Crossbow user has enough resources to back it up, it is more effective to position it further back and rely on another troop to deal damage to the building, as it will otherwise be within range of the opponent's Crown Tower and take damage. additional.

    Curiosities

    • From the description of the Knight, the Knight and the Barbarians are said to be distant cousins, due to their physical similarities and especially their whiskers. In fact, they both deal similar damage per hit, but the Knight has slightly higher attack speed and slightly more damage, therefore has higher damage per second; Some rivalry with the Electric Spirit is also mentioned for his mustache.
    • In the tutorial, the Knight is the first card the player is instructed to use, although the player does not need to place it first.
    • The Knight used to have red or blue shoulder pads depending on the side of the Arena. That was later removed.
    • When he is defeated, he drops his sword and it is temporarily left on the field. After a few minutes, it disappears. The same goes for the Executioner's ax, the Mega Henchman's helmet, the Dark Prince's spiked bat, the Mega Knight's two spikes, the Dark Prince's shield, the Guards and the Wheeled Cannon, the Ram's trunk and the Barbarians. battle and the bomb of the Giant Skeleton and the Bombastic Balloon.
