The launch of Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most anticipated of the year, has been clouded by the poor state of the console versions, and especially those of older models of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Throughout this week CD Projekt RED has done damage control offering refunds for all console users who felt disappointed with the game.
However, it was not easy, because in general, the return policies of the games In digital format, they do not include refunds for games that have already been installed and played. After a time of confusion, both Sony and Microsoft have promised refunds for all users who have purchased the game on their consoles (and in digital format).

It is logical to assume that this exceptional measure only applies to Cyberpunk 2077. In this link you can request a refund if you bought it for your Xbox consoles (Xbox One or Xbox SerieS X | S).
Unlike Sony, Microsoft does not remove the game from the online store.
"While we know that the developers at CD Projekt RED have worked hard to launch Cyberpunk 2077 under extremely difficult circumstances, we also know that some gamers are dissatisfied with the current console experience."
The official Xbox Support twitter adds that so far the money of the vast majority of users who have requested it has already been returned. Recall that there is currently only an "official" version of Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One and PS4 consoles, although in its next gen successors the game has better performance.
Notably Xbox consoles, and especially Xbox Series X, have fared somewhat better than PlayStation in their versions of Cyberpunk 2077, although they are still far from the PC versions (of the best PCs and graphics cards, of course). And on any platform, the game still has a lot of bugs.

Sony went one step further, and has removed the game from the PlayStation online store, although it can still be purchased in physical format. The versions optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X still do not have a confirmed date in 2021, while the Polish studio works to release patches soon.
