    Natural Disaster Survival

Natural Disaster Survival (in Spanish: Natural Disaster Survival) is a survival game created by Stickmasterluke.

In the game, players must survive through 11 different disasters on 16 preset maps generated on a raised green island.

There was a more recent version of Natural Disaster Survival called The Disaster Games, released on November 22, 2013. However, it is not popular due to the health cap and Stickmasterluke did not update it for a long period of time.

In The Disaster Games the player could hit other players, damage them and knock them down.

During 2014, Roblox Corporation released an app that took players directly into the game, but Roblox has now removed it.

The game is still popular, and is still in its growth stage since late 2011. However, some of the older Roblox users from 2006-2013 barely play this.

Since 2016, the game started to be very easy as the HUD now shows what disaster is to come, making it easier for players to survive. On February 25, 2020, the game surpassed XNUMX billion views

    Gameplay

    Disasters

To increase the survival challenge, there is a fall damage script, which damages the player if the player falls in any direction at a rapid rate. If that player stops accelerating, the script does not harm the player. When a round begins, a map is chosen at random and players teleport to that map when it spawns. Upon arrival, players have approximately 20 seconds to prepare for a randomly chosen disaster that is not revealed to the player until it begins. Half of the disasters have clouds that form over the map, while some are in clear skies, which can be used to the benefit of the player to prepare for the next disaster. These are the disasters available in Natural Disaster Survival.

    Name Weather Details Image
    Flood

    sudden

Cloudy Ten seconds after the warning, the ocean surrounding the island begins to slowly rise and eventually rises above the island.

Destroy any unstable structure and go down in its path. If a player touches the flood water, their health is slowly depleted until they die by drowning.

Your best option is to stay in stable structures, high enough to avoid flooding.

Do not climb too high as you can fall and die.

Once the structure falls, jump and stay on top of the brick above the water and keep jumping.

It is one of the hardest disasters in the game. However, on the Arch Park map, it is almost impossible to survive as the arch is not high enough to overcome the flood.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Tornado Cloudy Immediately after the warning, a smoke-shaped funnel attacks the center of the map and destroys all obstacles on the way.

The tornado is very destructive and hits any object it can find. Keep running away from the tornado and make sure it doesn't touch you, or else you could lose your accessories or you could be thrown off the map by a flying brick.

Although in Coastal Quickstop, the tornado never spawns at the lighthouse, docks, or well. Since they are off the island. Stay there if there is a tornado.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Storm Cloudy A second after the warning wears off, massive thunder strikes the map, simultaneously with the strike of lightning. Lightning strikes about 45 times on the map in different areas, perhaps even at sea.

Your best option is to stay indoors and avoid heights, as lightning can strike at high places. If you are struck by lightning, you will definitely die, or sometimes lose a lot of health and body parts, so stay indoors at all costs (Ignore this warning if you are trying to get the "Chance" badge). It is a very difficult disaster if you are in Fort Indestructable, as there is not much coverage.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Fuego Sunny A few seconds after the warning is issued, a part of the map begins to burn with fire, slowly reaching the nearby bricks. First, burn the

brick making it glow like fire, and then it turns to black ashes.

It starts at different locations on each map, and slowly spreads, burning and

    destroying everything on the map.

If the player touches the burning bricks, their health begins to slowly deplete from burns. If a player stands on a black brick (totally burned), they will not take any damage.

It is considered the easiest disaster in NDS, and if you stay in the corner of the map, practically anyone can survive this disaster.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Meteor shower Sunny Brown spheres begin to fall from the sky at high speed, dislodging and throwing everything they hit. They do not cause an additional fire, but if the player is close enough, their arms can be amputated and disappear from the island. If it hits you directly, the players (as always) will die. The meteor can pass through buildings.

The meteorites explode, but the explosion will not affect anything. Even if you are very close to the meteor, you will not die.

The meteor is not a sniper, as it does not hit you easily even when you are outdoors, but you should not be inside a building, as if a meteor hits the building, they block the view of the rain and if a meteor falls in the same, some debris can surround you and get trapped under the parts. The best place to be during a meteor disaster is a flat, clear area outside of any structure.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Tsunami Sunny Away from the island, a large wave appears in the middle of the ocean and is constantly moving towards the island. On impact, it destroys the bricks it collides with and kills players who are not on terrain that is not high enough to pass the tsunami.

During a tsunami disaster, avoid being on very tall and thin structures as they easily collapse, but instead see any sturdy buildings tall enough that they cannot be hit by the wave. Then after the tsunami hits you, you can safely jump off the building before it collapses.

The height of the tsunami is slightly smaller than the walls of Fort Indestructable (Fort Indestructible).

    Natural Disaster Survival
Snow storm Cloudy and foggy When this disaster begins, a great force rushes from a random direction and begins to disintegrate and fly objects, causing damage to players if they are not behind any objects. In addition, the blizzard will cause any player who does not touch any wall or corner to be hypothermic and, if they are around long enough, will cause them to die of hypothermia. However, as long as the player remains in a corner of a house or building, the storm will not cause significant damage.
    Natural Disaster Survival
Sandstorm Cloudy and dusty Identical to the snowstorm, but this is replaced by sand, before the dusty wind arrives, the view will become dusty and the screen will be covered with sand. When it starts, the great force rushes from a random direction and begins to disintegrate or blow up all the bricks.

Players will not take damage from the sandstorm itself, however its flying bricks are more fatal than in the blizzard if they hit the player. So during the sandstorm, stay outdoors, watch where the bricks fly. For example, if the flying bricks are flying east, stay in the west of the island and watch out for the flying bricks. Sometimes everything on the island is wiped off the map.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Acid rain Cloudy One of the game's unrealistic disasters (acid rain doesn't actually dissolve objects easily). In the clouds, this mess will randomly drop a few drops of deadly acid onto every brick it can be poured on.

Players who are not in a shelter can be damaged by rain, and if protection is not found in time, they die from severe burns. The acid drop turns the brick gray first, then it turns green and disconnects from other bricks if they are damaged twice by the drops. If it continues to be damaged, the color of the green brick becomes increasingly darker. Eventually it turns black and disappears (this can be omitted if the original brick color is like the affected brick). Touching a brick that has been affected by acid drop can also cause a small amount of damage. Make sure there is something over your head, but it is best to stay inside. It is a very difficult disaster if you are in Fort Indestructable, as there is not much coverage.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Volcanic eruption Sunny Anywhere on the map, a large scalable volcano forms and begins

to erupt in just seconds. This volley sends flying lava bricks to the island, similar to the meteor shower, swallowing any brick and player it hits.

Lava bricks sometimes cut through objects and the island. Sometimes lava bricks can collide with objects and the island, so hiding in a building is not a good idea. It is best to stay away from the volcano as far as possible. Alternatively, you can take a chance and climb the volcano by jumping over the water next to the volcano. Don't worry, the volcano land is under the island so you don't fall. Sometimes magma cubes can fail and freeze in midair. During a multiple disaster or when there are many people on a server.

    Natural Disaster Survival
Earthquake Sunny The ground shakes, collapses and breaks almost any structure on the map and transports any player in a random direction, sometimes into the water if one does not react quickly enough. However, it did not move randomly when standing on the red-torso NPC near the spawn point. Therefore, standing on the NPC was a good idea to survive the earthquake. However, the NPC has been removed from the game. Sometimes Roblox physics can blow the bricks. If you are unlucky, the flying bricks can hit you and push you off the island. Therefore, staying away from bricks can also increase your chances of survival. It is possibly one of the easiest disasters on NDS. If you are in the air, the disaster does not force you to move, so you must stay in a sufficiently empty place and keep jumping.

    Curiosities

    • In the Furious Station map, there is graffiti on the billboard that says "AVERYWITHAFACE MADE THIS", which implies that the creator of this map is the one mentioned.
    • Sometimes during a sandstorm, players would lose two-thirds of their health. It was not confirmed if it is a bug or not.
    • The tornado used to be the original smoke effect until February 2016. Now, use ParticleEmitter.
    • The lightning bolt material used to be plastic until February 2016. Now it uses neon.
    • The meteors used to be black, brown, and rose red, but they changed to light red and bright orange. Now, they are only in brown. The meteorite's material used to be plastic until February 2017 and was changed to slate. The fire trail left by the meteor used to be a fire effect, and now it uses ParticleEmitter.
    • Some of the objects on some maps are pinned and cannot be destroyed. These are the following objects that are docked:
      • The stage under the Turbo Drop at Party Palace.
      • The highest area on earth in Surf Central (Centro del Surf).
      • The floor of the red building in Rakish Refinery.
      • The first floor apartment of the Heights School.
      • An NPC that appeared on all maps (removed).
