Noble giant
|
Oven
|
It has a good synergy with the oven. The Noble Giant's reach causes him to stay close to the bridge, allowing Fire Spirits to reach him more quickly and negate any swarms the opponent tries to deploy on him.
|
- Since the Noble Giant is a ranged troop, it will not protect any close range or melee troop from enemy defenders, rendering its high hit points almost useless as a shield. However, it is possible to use the Noble Giant as a tank if the player places melee troops after the Tower of Crowns attacks it.
- Princess, Magic Archer, Musketeer, Mage, Sprite Thrower, Fire Thrower, Rolling Cannon, Ice Mage, and Flying Machine can stay safely behind the Noble Giant as they have a longer range than him. Note that spells like The Log, Rocket, etc. and certain troops can nullify this synergy.
- Placing him at the end of the bridge allows him to attack the enemy Crown Tower after taking a few steps, making him an instant threat. After destroying a tower and opening the lane, he can position himself in the middle of the opponent's map to almost immediately attack the second Tower of Crowns. It should be placed 1 tile down from the center so that it is out of range of the King's Tower during its deployment time. Since he can take down a Tower of Crowns without help, this is very effective in the Sudden Death period, as the mere threat of the noble Giant often deters opponents from using all of their Elixir at once to attack, allowing the player to defend himself more flexibly.
- Counters siege buildings quite well (Crossbow and Mortar). Since it has decent range, high health, and only attacks buildings, it can stand on your side while taking down the siege building and taking it out on its own. This is especially powerful against the Mortar as it will keep you out of your blind spot and keep you distracted. After defeating the buildings, you will still have more than half your health for a counterattack.
- The Minion Horde, Skeleton Army, Barbarians, and other swarms can effectively counter it due to its high damage per second, minimizing the amount of damage the Noble Giant can deal. However, they are easily defeated with splash units like the Mage or spells like Arrows. Other high-damage-per-second units like Mini PEKKA, Lumberjack, or Elite Barbarians are more reliable due to their higher hit points.
- The Ice Mage's ability to slow troops can also be an effective support option to make the Noble Giant less of a threat.
- The Inferno Tower is one of the best cards to deal with as it distracts him while quickly taking him down. Be careful with spells like Bolt or Lightning, though, as they can be quickly deployed to reset surge damage. Even if the opponent lacks an Infernal Tower or Dragon, Lightning is useful in supporting a noble Giant, as this will often force more than one card out of the opponent's hand, allowing the spell to gain positive Elixir exchanges. .
- If the player cannot place a structure in time and an opposing Noble Giant focuses on the Tower of Crowns, they can use a stun card to make the Noble Giant re-aim and attack the structure. If none of these cards are available, the player can also lightly nudge the Noble Giant by placing troops or buildings on it, also forcing a redirect.
- When counterattacking a Noble Giant with PEKKA, the PEKKA should be deployed on the Noble Giant and on its way. This will cause the PEKKA to push you back slightly due to its high mass and get you one less hit on the Crown Tower.

The information in this section has been obtained from Clash Royale weba page, the Clash Royale community in English.
- 23 March of 2016: A balance change increased the Noble Giant's damage by 20%.
- May 3 from 2016: The May 2016 update increased his Noble Giant range by 1 (from 6 to 7 squares). He also fixed a range issue and his range was reduced by 0.5 with no change to his effective range, so it was only a 0.5 cell increase.
- May 18 from 2016: A balance change reduced the Noble Giant's damage by 4%.
- August 24, 2016: A balance change reduced the Noble Giant's attack speed from 1.5 seconds to 1.7 seconds.
- April 19 from 2017: A balance change increased his deployment time from 1 to 2 seconds.
- October 1, 2018: A balance change reduced its range from 6.5 to 5 squares and its deployment time from 2 to 1 second, but increased its damage by 60%.
- February 29, 2016: Noble Giant released in the March 2016 update
- The players of the world top and the Youtubers consider it to be one of the most "dirty" cards along with Elíte's Barbarians.
- The noble giant at level 1 is capable of being destroyed with a Rocket at level 9 or a Lightning at level 13.
- The Cannon he wields refers to a Clash of Clans level 7 Cannon, if it is at a star level 2 or 3, its cannon will be a level 10 Cannon.
- Something weird is that the cannonball it holds is larger than the cannonball it fires. Still, we see how this cannonball loads.
- His damage per hit is 10% of his health points.
- It is the subject of a reaction.
