Description of Toons.TV

The birds receive a postcard from their friends in Rio, but getting to Brazil is not as easy as you think. Put on your party gear and celebrate samba carnival with those fun Angry Birds!

Argument

A box floats in the ocean. Inside it the birds travel, who go to Rio de Janeiro, when they see a postcard from their friends in Rio. Red, Chuck, the Blues, Matilda and Terence step out of the box and start celebrating, but realize they are in the wrong place; the rainy streets of London, England. So they enter the box again, and arrive in another city. They go outside again and begin to celebrate, but realize that they are in the wrong place: the Acropolis, in Athens, Greece. So they return to the box, this time on a plane, and the box falls in another place, they go out again celebrating but they realize that it is actually the North Pole. The birds begin to worry about whether they are going to reach Brazil, and Red checks by looking out if the places are Brazil, and they arrive in Fuji, Japan, Pig City, Pig Island, a mountain, a forest, a desert, a beach, an unknown red place, until they inexplicably reach the Moon, where Red screams in despair. Finally, the box falls on the Cerro de Corcovado, Rio de Janeiro, where the birds arrive and listen to the fireworks, so they happily begin to celebrate their arrival.

Curiosities

• In the end, after announcing the new levels of Angry Birds Rio, in the trailer the film is announced as: "Rio 2: Only in Theaters".
• Among the places where the birds go by mistake instead of Rio de Janeiro, is Ciudad Pig.
• When the birds reach the moon, the Finnish flag is nailed to its surface.
