La train station (train station in English) is the starting place for the Animal Crossing (GameCube) and Animal Crossing: New Leaf games.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City, instead, this building and the police station come together to form the Gate; and the messages that are given from here on GameCube happen to be given from the town hall. Unlike other buildings, it is always centered to the north, such as the Gate.
This building connects with the rails of the town, through which trains will pass that will pick us up or leave us in it, as well as other trains that will only pass, and will not stop at our station.

Animal Crossing (GameCube)
In this first installment of Animal Crossing, the station has two uses: the arrival trip to the town and the trips to other towns. Whenever we are up, we will see Fran, who will chat with us, and other eventual characters such as Juana or Alcatifa, usually sleeping.

When you start in Animal Crossing (GameCube) you are sitting in front of Fran, and he, as in Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City, asks you questions to define your external appearance. Communication
As the game does not have an Internet connection, the only way to change town is to put another Animal Crossing Memory Card in the other slot of the GameCube, talk to the monkey at the station, (Estacio) and get on the train. To go to a friend's town, the other Memory Card must contain the other Animal Crossing game.
On the return Fran, if there are other players in the village, will commit the Glitch of the Town and the Player, a text construction error:
I will tell you, for example: do you know Barcelona? Live in Maria when it would be: do you know Maria? Lives in Barcelona.
If the other Memory Card does not have any Animal Crossing games, but has at least 3 free blocks, it will be sent to a random village. But you will never access it but the game will restart to the title screen and you may receive a letter from a neighbor who has never come to live in your town but has just left (glitch?). This method of using a memory card without game data (saved travel data) is useful when a third memory card is involved, that is, it is useful if you plan to use an "empty" memory, as a bridge between two different cards with two different towns. .
Totakeke
In Animal Crossing (GameCube), Totakeke plays in front of the Train station, just to the right of the Map Board and the stairs. While watching the credits, to the left of the screen, you, Totakeke and the bench on which he sits will change the background, observing the passage of the four seasons.

The first time the player arrives in town, he will stop at this station (as he will be coming by train). Also, we will travel by train to visit friends. Therefore, there are no changes of use, although the connection between players is adapted to the gate system (using the red doors located in front of Estacio) and the StreetPass (local connection) and Nintendo Network (Internet connection) functions. Therefore, the former gatekeepers Vigilio and Nocencio return to their GameCube roles as police officers at the police station, although you can only enjoy the presence of one of them (when you build it).
