    Sora using Fast Momentum in Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories



    Trick (ス ト ッ ク 技 Sutokku Gi?) Is a term used in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories to refer to certain combinations of two or three cards that produce unusual effects. They are used by Sora, Riku, and most of the bosses in the game. Sora can learn his Tricks by leveling up, progressing through the story, when he obtains certain cards, or by searching for them in chests, while Riku begins the game with all his Tricks. Each Trick has to meet certain requirements to activate, and most require that three cards be of a certain type and / or have a certain value. Some Tricks only require two cards, these Tricks are activated if the stored cards do not fulfill any other Trick of three cards or using only two cards if desired (for this you must "store" the Reload Card instead of the third card in the deck or press Trick y Trick simultaneously in Re: Chain of Memories). Although Tricks are part of a rich assortment of combos, the first card of any trick will disappear from the player's deck unless certain Enemy Cards are activated, and while they can be recovered with Item Cards, overuse of these can lead to you running out of playing cards in the deck.



    Sora's Tricks are divided into "Attack", "Magic", "Summon", and "Ally" Tricks, which are classified based on the cards they require. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories also introduces two unique cheats for the Bumble-Rumble minigame. Riku's Tricks are divided into "Attack" Tricks, "Ally", and "Duel Tricks". Unlike other types of Tricks, "Duel Tricks" can only be used by initiating a duel, and up to seven cards can be used.
