HR underwater creatures (海 の 幸, seafood), also known as crustaceans o molluscs They are a type of collectible creature introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The player can catch it by swimming in the ocean wearing a Diving Suit and diving when directly over a shadow, or by swimming underwater. The size of the shadows varies from as small as the Boreal Shrimp to as large as the Giant Isopod.
Like the Bugs and Fish, they can be donated to the Museum by talking to Socrates, who will then display them in the underwater creatures section.
In New Leaf, the Octopus and the Lobster go from being classified as fish to being classified as underwater creatures.
Diving was reintroduced to New Horizons as part of Summer Update Volume 1 (1.3.0) added July 3, 2020. The player can dive into the sea and collect these creatures, which can be donated to Socrates, or the Scallops can be swapped with Pascal for DIY recipes.
