Arma artema (アルテマウェポン Arutema Wepon?), In English Ultima Weapon, is usually the most powerful Keyblade in the Kingdom Hearts saga, both in magic and strength. In Kingdom Hearts II she is the strongest after Fenrir and the best in magic after Fatal Emblem, but in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix she is the third most powerful in magic, after Triumphal Trial. However, his Haste PM ++ ability is more useful in normal combat than these other Keyblades.

It is obtained by creating it in the store with the recipe found in the Twilight Town mansion, in the room where Sora awakens at the beginning. Recipe:

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Artema Weapon appears not as a panel of parts, but rather is an ability that can be obtained by earning 255 Challenge Seals in story mode. Despite this, it does not modify the weapon but increases the strength of the weapon by 100 points (if its strength is equal to or less than 85) or by 15 (if it is greater).

Design

The Artema Weapon version of Kingdom Hearts bears a strong resemblance to the Dream Sword but covered in gold ornamentation. The sword's teeth are a golden version of the crown that Sora wears on his necklace. The keychain is a heart made up of two halves that refer to a complete being (unlike the Heartless and Nobodies). It also has hearts right on the handle and another next to the crown that makes up the teeth of the key, these two hearts remain in the Kingdom Hearts II version.

Artema weapon is a common equipment in the Final Fantasy saga, usually as one of the most powerful weapons. It makes its debut in the game Final Fantasy VI and has since appeared in almost all subsequent titles, the bearer always being the protagonist. Cloud is the wielder in Final Fantasy VII, Yitán uses a double saber variant in Final Fantasy IX, and Tidus can wield it in Final Fantasy X.

Squall uses a similar weapon in Final Fantasy VIII called Lionheart.
