Luxord, also nicknamed "The Gambler of Destiny", is the X member of Organization XIII in the Kingdom Hearts games. He has under his command the disembodied Gamblers and his weapons are cards that have the ability to take different sizes and transport people to other places, however, when he dies, the cards lose their power and transport Sora's friends again. to the Non-existent World. Appearance

Luxord is a man of medium height with a slim but also athletic build, with very short platinum blonde hair combed back, and a goatee and mustache of the same color. His eyes are deep blue and he wears several earrings with the emblem of the Nobodies. He wears the Organization XIII robe with wide sleeves.

Personality

Luxord is calm and very calm on any occasion, but like every disembodied member of the organization he is cruel and twisted. He is very good at analyzing problems and finding a way to take advantage of them. As a good player, he loves games of chance although he always adopts the way of playing that suits him best, that is, he always has an ace up his sleeve. As Pepito's Diary says, he is a master of rhetoric, analyzing life as a simple game of chance, in which you have to know how to play the cards that fate offers you in your favor at all times. Even so within what one would expect of a Nobody, he was respectful towards his companions and even became kind to Roxas during the missions they worked on together.

Luxord uses cards as a weapon. Almost all of their weapons are named after tarot cards or, failing that, important poker cards or moves. His default weapon is called "Fair Play".

His joke weapons are "Fabula Totalis 13", which take the appearance of compact discs or computer, and "Secret of the Game", which are four-leaf clovers. Luxord cards can vary greatly in size, from normal playing card size to almost twice Sora's height.

Relationships

Not much is known about the relationships he had, but apparently he was highly respected by his peers, being the third to last to fall at the hands of Sora, he notes that he was highly esteemed for his abilities in time and game control. During his time with Roxas, the latter develops a kind of admiration for his style of seeing things and his hobbies, as well as the form of combat, although days later this disappeared, it seems to have generated a kind of friendship with Luxord, this could be the key to his last words "How could you Roxas?", implying that he did not believe that Roxas could harm him in such a way.

Curiosities

Luxord, Demyx and Zexión are the only members of the organization that do not use weapons as such (Luxord using cards, Demyx his Sitar and Zexión a book).
His name when he was a complete being is not yet known, although it is believed that it may be Dolur.
It is possible that when he was human, Luxord was a very good player of cards and other games of chance, but at the same time obsessive, so his weapon takes the form of cards.
Despite being a master of cards, he was not chosen as the lord of the Castle of Oblivion. This is possible because Xemnas believed in Luxord's loyalty and usefulness to the royal Organization XIII. Due to this, he left Marluxia and Larxene in charge of the castle, suspecting their betrayal and thus discarding them from his plans.
Luxord is the favorite member of Organization XIII of Tetsuya Nomura the director of the game, because in fact the powers of Luxord are related to Nomura, since the hobby of this only the table games and chance.
