The past Fortnite event has been the least seen in its history

The last big event held in Fortnite has not been enough to reduce the audience losses that the game has suffered in recent weeks. The epic duel between giants had a peak of more than 600.000 viewers on Twitch, but it could not be placed even among the 10 most watched moments in the history of this battle royale.

This Saturday's event has been the most watched broadcast of Fortnite since February 2019. However, since that month of February, Fortnite has suffered a very significant drop in terms of views and viewers. It has gone from 176.000 at the beginning of the year to 113.000 in the last thirty days.

Whenever there has been a loss of audience, Fortnite has counterattacked with spectacular events and this season 9 has been the most colorful of them all. The brutal combat between mecha and monster / kaiju left us speechless.

This has been Cattus vs Doggus, the Fortnite event (with video in case you missed it)

The duel was resolved in favor of the gigantic robot created by the inhabitants of the island. After being severely dismembered by the monster, it gathered the power of the Balsa Botín orb and finished off the monster with a powerful sword blow.

Season 10 of Fortnite will begin later this week. Will this new season manage to raise the peak of viewers or will Fortnite continue to lose support as time goes by?

You still have time to complete all the fortbytes that are scattered around the map. If you have not completed the challenges of season 9 we leave you the list with all of them. Also, it is being speculated that the orb used by the mecha could drastically change the Fortnite map.
