CD Projekt spent little time on Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One and is trying to restore the company's image

Cyberpunk 2077 has been the launch of the year, although this does not have to be a good thing. CD Projekt Red has been addressing the criticism that has rained down on the studio after the questionable state of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

The future has brought a few problems. After a long wait, Cyberpunk 2077 has reached consoles and PC and while it is true that the ambitious proposal has hit the nail on the head in many respects, the constant errors and performance glitches on PS4 and Xbox One they have made the title very difficult to rate positively.

The study has made self-criticism recognizing that the versions of PS4 and Xbox One lacked cooking time. Senior Vice President of Business Development Michal Nowakowski commented: Definitely we don't spend enough time looking at that. I wouldn't say we feel any external or internal pressure to launch on the date, other than the normal pressure, which is typical of any launch.

In addition, the manager added: The cost of patching the game is irrelevant compared to what we have at stake at the moment, alluding to the responsibility to repair the damaged image of the company. So there is no question. We definitely want to fix the game, we made our promise to the players, and we will do our best to deliver. We have also said that if your expectation is that the game is equal to, say, nextgen or PC in terms of performance, that definitely won't happen. 

But CD Projekt Red has several open fronts, as many have accused them of having received a preferential treatment by Sony and Microsoft in the matter of refunds and returns. On this subject, the CEO Marcin Iwinski spoke: You have to understand, Microsoft and Sony, that all products that are launched digitally in their stores have refund policies.
