Mulan She is a young woman from the Land of Dragons, and is a member of the group in Kingdom Hearts II. Determined to bring honor to her family, especially that of her ailing father, Mulan cuts her hair, steals her father's armor, and poses as a soldier named Ping to join the Chinese army in order to defeat Shan-Yu. At first, Mulan is a generally weak fighter, but over time she becomes a skilled warrior.

Kingdom Hearts II
Sora, Donald, and Goofy meet Mulan as Ping outside the army camp with Mushu. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are shocked when they are told that she is actually a girl, but they promise to keep her identity a secret. The group goes to enlist in the army, where Mulan is almost discovered after breaking up a massive fight between Sora, Donald, and two recruits. Captain Shang has little faith in Ping, despite constant comments from Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Mulan slowly impresses Shang, defeating Shan-Yu and her Heartless single-handedly, thanks to an avalanche she triggered. But Mushu accidentally reveals Mulan's identity. Shang, outraged at her deception, dismisses her and the others from the battle before returning to the Imperial City.
Mulan and the others see Shan-Yu and several Heartless survivors emerge from the mountain and head for the Imperial City. Shang doesn't believe what Mulan says, but he soon regains his confidence again when the Emperor is kidnapped. Mulan, Sora and the others fight Shan-Yu and finish him off. The Emperor thanks him personally and bows respectfully. Suddenly, Shan-Yu's sword lights up and gives Sora access to another world.
Mulan meets Sora during his second visit to his world. Mulan is chasing a man in black and she thinks he is a spy. But Sora knows that he is a member of Organization XIII. After the man in black flees to the mountains, they see a dragon-shaped Heartless named Storm Rider heading to the Imperial City. They go there where they find the man involved (actually there are two, one of them Riku), who reveals that he is Xigbar. Mulan and the others defeat the Heartless. So, Mulan gives his support to Sora when he goes to continue his journey to find Riku and Kairi.
In order to thank him for his unconditional loyalty, the Emperor has Mulan and Captain Shang serve him by his side.
Personality
Mulán is a very clumsy, independent and open girl who shows honor and respect for her family and friends. On the first visit to the Land of Dragons, she is very insecure, however, over time she begins to gain confidence in herself. She has a steadfast determination, as seen in her multiple attempts to impress Captain Shang. Mulan is also a clever strategist in battle, as demonstrated by using a rocket to create an avalanche that kills most of Shan-Yu's army.

Mulan comes from the 1998 film of the same name. As in Kingdom Hearts II, Mulan disguises himself as a boy to prevent his father from going to war. She is finally discovered when a doctor is tending to her injuries. Captain Shang rejects it, despite saving his life. Mulan, however, despite being kicked out, overcomes her fears and defeats Shan-Yu. The Emperor then considers her the bravest woman in all of China.
Mulan disguised as Ping
Appearance
Like Ping, Mulan wears his father's armor, which is predominantly black and green. Beneath this armor, he wears a long gray martial arts shirt and dark gray pants. She wears knee-high black shoes and wears white stockings. In his normal attire, Mulan discards the armor, but retains the traditional Chinese clothing. She also wears green bracelets. Mulan's hair is black and shoulder-length (like Ping wears a green ribbon bow). His eyes and eyebrows are black too.
Skills
During the short time he joins Sora under the guise of Ping, Mulan does not use Mushu's magic and is much weaker. She attacks, moves very slowly and only uses her sword. After the battle on the top of the mountain, he sheds his disguise and acquires all his power and abilities. Mulan makes use of Mushu's fire in battle, although he also uses his sword. She is very agile and can carry out various air attacks.
He can also perform a Limit attack with Sora, Fire Dragon, if his corresponding ability is activated.
