Cid appears taking some burnt cookies out of the oven. Beside him is a Moguri, exalted when he sees the cookies.

Finally revealing himself, Leon approaches Sora and says, "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to sleep for a bit." Leon then hits Sora on the back of his head, causing him to lose consciousness. When Sora starts to wake up, he thinks he sees Kairi, but it's actually Yuffie.
The scene changes, we see Donald and Goofy, who are looking for Leon. Returning to Sora, Leon begins to explain to him that the Heartless are chasing him for his Keyblade, and that he has hidden Sora's heart from finding them. Before he can finish, the Heartless begin to attack the hotel where they are, and they are forced to leave the room. Sora breaks away from Leon, and when he calls out to him, Donald and Goofy fall off a ledge and land on Sora. At that moment, they are surrounded by walls, and the Armor falls from the sky. The Armor attacks Sora directly, but Goofy intervenes and tells Sora that he has her back. The Armor recoils and fires a laser at Sora, which he hits, so Donald heals him with Cura. After a brief fight with the Armor, it deals a blow at the trio and they all fly off. Sora counterattacks, recovers, and delivers a final blow in midair.
After the battle, Donald convinces Sora to travel with him and Goofy on the Gumi Ship. Although Sora now has a chance to find his friends, he still seems depressed. So Donald tells him that he can only come if he's happy, because his boat "runs on smiles." Sora then changes his mood and the three of them introduce themselves appropriately, put their hands together, and proclaim "One for all and all for one!".

Curiosities
- Unlike the game, Sora meets Donald and Goofy as soon as Leon explains to Sora why the Heartless are following him and they find him.
- This chapter does not have a back cover in the original version of the manga, it was added in the Final Mix version. This may be because this chapter consists of 14 pages.
