adamantine (ア ダ マ ン シ ー ル ド Adamant Bumper?) Is a Goofy shield that appears in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. In Kingdom Hearts you get it by buying it at Juanito, Jaimito and Jorgito's store in Ciudad de Paso. In Kingdom Hearts II you can buy it in the Weapons Shop in Twilight Town, in the Hollow Bastion and in the Moguri Shops.

Design
In Kingdom Hearts, Adamantine is roughly pentagonal in shape, has smooth edges and a curved bottom. It is mainly navy blue, although the front upper half of the shield bears three blue rectangles arranged side by side, while the lower half bears a blue, horizontal and upward-curved rectangle. There is a small, pale yellow circle at the bottom of each of the top three rectangles. There are also three large, gray screws at the bottom and two corners of the shield.
In Kingdom Hearts II, the Adamantine's design changes dramatically. It is slightly smaller and much more rounded. It has a new orange color and the upper corners of the shield are yellowish. It also has a green design similar to the shell of a turtle.
The Adamantine shield is named after the Adamantium material. His appearance in Kingdom Hearts II is also a reference to the Adamantaimi.
Other appearances
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the Adamantine Shield appears on Goofy's D-Nexus bar in the Kingdom Hearts II skin.
