Among us 2 was a planned game being portrayed as the Sequel to Among Us created by Innersloth. However, on September 23, 2020, Innersloth officially announced that the Video Game sequel was permanently canceled a little over a month after the original announcement, due to the already existing care and love of Among Us 1. Fortunately, without However, the content planned for Among Us 2 will still be added in some way in an Among Us update sometime in the near future.

Gameplay

The Among Us 2 game was going to be very similar to the original Among Us, but with improved features. Innersloth had planned to make the servers much larger to cater for the high player demand due to the Popularity of the Original Game, plus multiple modes and roles were also planned.

No maps have been confirmed, but Innersloth said he doesn't expect all three maps to be copied directly, one set in the "Henry Stickmin" world could also be mentioned due to it being another Innersloth game.

Curiosities

Unlike the previous game, Among Us 2 would have been released first on PC due to the fact that it took less time to launch, then on mobile devices as the game would have had to go through an approval that could have taken hours or even days.
The updates that were planned for Among Us 2 will supposedly be added to the original Among Us at some point in the future.
Among Us 2 was supposed to have an updated code. Now that it's canceled, the original Among Us will now have the updated code at some point in the future.
