    Angry Birds Bubble Trouble, [1] is a 3D animation series of the comic-family genre, based on the designs and concepts of the video game Angry Birds Dream Blast, being produced by Rovio Entertainment, in collaboration with Los Amigos, an animation studio based in Brazil. Peru and Chile. [2] The series has a total of 20 episodes, lasting between one or two minutes each, which were released on August 31, 2020. [1]

    Unlike other Angry Birds series, Angry Birds Bubble Trouble was initially released as a series for the Amazon streaming service FreeTime Unlimited, but touting a wider distribution planned for a later date. [2]



    On December 5, 2020, the episodes of the animated series began to be released periodically through the official Angry Birds channel on YouTube, [3] ending their broadcast on May 8, 2021. [4] The series was directed by Fabiano Pandolfi and Kim Helminen. [1]

    History

    The series was produced by Rovio Entertainment, in association with Los Amigos, a group made up of the studios Hype (Brazil), PunkRobot (Chile) and Red Animation Studios (Peru), the series being based on the concepts, ideas, and designs of the world of the mobile video game Angry Birds Dream Blast, released in 2019. [5]



    The series was announced the same day it was released, August 31, 2020, along with a trailer for it released for YouTube by Rovio Entertainment, [6] and an announcement on its official website. [2] The series began being released as exclusive content for the streaming site Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, but announcing that a more extensive distribution was being planned for the dates after the same. The series was launched along with 20 episodes of between one and two minutes, in its first season. [2]

    After much speculation, on November 28, 2020 it was confirmed that the series would begin to be broadcast on the official Angry Birds channel on YouTube, starting on December 5 of the same year, with an episode premiering weekly on the channel. [3 ] This broadcast ended on May 8, 2021, when the final episode, titled "The Ultimate Candy Jar", was released. [4]
