Angry Birds Heroes

Angry Birds Heroes [1] was to be a role-playing and fighting video game that would have the design of Angry Birds: The Movie, developed by Rovio Entertainment Corporation. It was announced in December 2017, but was canceled in February 2018. It was later replaced by Angry Birds Legends.

History

The game was announced by Rovio on November 28, 2017, releasing a small 16-second trailer on YouTube that was only viewed by people who had the link to the video. [2]

On December 4 of the same year, Rovio made a Facebook post about the game creating a poll that is currently unavailable. [3]

Game discontinuation

In February 2018, Rovio Entertainment canceled development of the game after 2 months of its announcement. [4] Later, the idea and game mode served as the basis for launching Angry Birds Legends, in February 2020.
