Angry Birds Transformers

Angry Birds Transformers is a game developed by Rovio (in collaboration with Hasbro) which was released on October 15, 2014, being a Spin-Off based on the popular Transformers franchise. [1]

This time the theme of the game will be based on the Transformers universe, being the birds the side ¨Autopájaros (autobot) ¨ and the pigs the side ¨Decepticerdos (decepticon) ¨.

Hasbro has already confirmed a line of toys based on this new installment, possibly including "Telepods". [2]

Screen

The mysterious Oval Spark has arrived on Pig Island and has transformed all living and non-living beings into Transformers, the eggs into malevolent Huebots, and these transform the piglets into evil Pigbots, and the rocks or vegetables into towers that they want to destroy lifetime. The Autobirds and Deceptic Pigs must put their differences aside to destroy the towers and capture the evil and mischievous Huebots.

Gameplay

The player has to eliminate the pigs in the level, but the main objective is to survive through the race. However, some levels or features can be unlocked only when the player has spawned enough general pigs, therefore popping pigs is still essential.

Pigs can be blown up by shooting at them multiple times, but it is easier to defeat them by shooting support materials from their fortresses, or blowing up TNT. Since the game is a side scroller, pigs that have exited the screen can no longer be popped.

Certain obstacles, such as falling from the mechanical Statues of Easter Island, will require the player to make his Transformer run through the level faster, to avoid loss, thus transforming into a vehicle is essential in such a case. The transformation, however, does not last, and the character will transform back into a robot, therefore, the transformation back into a robot must be done if the vehicle mode is no longer needed, so next time the player has to transform into a vehicle, the duration will be at most.

Episodes

Telepods

The game is compatible with Hasbro Telepods, a line of toys that is also used in other Angry Birds games, such as Angry Birds Star Wars II and Angry Birds Go!. [3] The toys are able to get the characters in the game that correspond to the scanned figure. When using Telepods to unlock characters, it is necessary to scan their QR Code every time the application is closed. The game will be the fourth game in the Angry Birds series to feature Telepods.

Comics series

At San Diego Comic Con 2014, IDW Publishing and Rovio announced a series of Angry Birds Transformers comic books; which will be written by John Barber and illustrated by Marcelo Ferriera, published in the 1st quarter of 2015. [4]

• It is the third game translated into Spanish.
  • The first was Angry Birds Go! and the second was Angry Birds Epic.
• The enemies are the eggs.
• A bird or a pig can appear as two or more characters at the same time.
• Poultry and pigs may or may not thank you in different ways.
• If a bird thanks a pig the pig will reject it and vice versa, or it accepts it and the bird makes a pose, but the pig will make a better pose and the bird pushes it ending a shot of its face
• So far it is the only game where birds and pigs have bodies
• It is the first game in which Hal is a main character
• Megatron appears in various cutscenes of other Deceptic pigs but has yet to be released.
• The Resortera is not used in the game.
• Almost everyone has their character in energon but it is not improved or something like that, if not it has to be unlocked as if it were another character, like Grimlock Gray Slam, Grimlock "Golden Peak", Turbo Bumblebee, and Optimus Prime Definitive or Megatron Dark and Megatron Ultimate.
