    Animal Crossing Encyclopedia: Forum
ANIMAL CROSSING ENCYCLOPEDIA FORUMThe Animal Crossing Encyclopedia forum is a section of the website in which users share experiences, opinions, data, ask questions, etc. as well as where the administrative team can post news, promote events, choose the new featured content on the front page, etc.

    Access the forum

To access the forum, you can search in the Special search bar: Forum or you can easily access it through the navigation panel. It's to the far right of the first tab ("").

    Structure

    • Index: allows you to go to any part of the forum through the subforums.
      • Subforums: They are like ramifications of the forum that allow maintaining an order in the forum, separating the topics into different categories:
        • Animal Crossing: This subforum allows you to discuss topics from any Animal Crossing game, as well as it can be used as a personal diary telling others what the days are like in your game and what you did on a certain day. You can also create a theme by publicizing your town (what it is like, if there are many weeds or is it well cared for, where the river runs, where is your house and other buildings, ...).
        • News: There is news on the cover that could be more complete than it is, and in that case an entry will also be created in this forum to develop it better. If this happened, the news would be summarized on the cover and we would give a link to see it in detail.
        • Animal Crossing Encyclopedia: Here the Administrative team can announce changes to the website, choose the featured content of the cover (article, survey, user, ...) or promote events on the website, as well as someone can congratulate someone else or make yourself known if you are new to the website.
        • Questions and Answers: Here you can ask any questions you have about an Animal Crossing game, about Animal Crossing Encyclopedia or about how to edit, although for the last two options, if you prefer, you can ask an Administrator or a reverser on your wall.
        • Auctions and Object Demands: Here any user can ask for an object that he does not own or, if he has a very rare object, he can sell it to the one who offers the most berries. Once a deal is made, the two users connect and the agreed upon is done.
        • Technical support: It is the same as the question and answer, but it specializes in questions when editing or with edit codes or even Media.
        • Off-topic: To talk calmly about anything other than the website or Animal Crossing. For example, the first message left in this subforum asks about the opinion of the Pokémon X and Y games.
          • Topics: It is the message that a user writes to talk about something in any sub-forum.

    Features

The nice thing about the subforum is that anyone can manage the topics and you don't need user powers to:

    • Move a topic from one subforum to another.
    • Edit a message or reply from someone else.
    • View the history of a topic or a reply / comment.
    • Withdraw a topic or answer (that is, delete) in case of using unpleasant words.
    • Close a topic: No one will be able to add more responses / comments once you close a topic.
    • Rename a topic: Change the title of a topic to a more appropriate one.
    • Highlight a topic: You can do it right when you create it or also later, as well as make it stop standing out. The fact of highlighting a topic implies that it will appear in the notifications of all users who register. It is a good way to make them known.
    • Review an article: if a topic on the forum talks about an Animal Crossing thing (for example: it talks about bees) you can review the Bee's article because they are related. With this, the entry appears under the article, in a section that says: "Forum threads".

We remember that, as we have said, anyone can manage the topics, but it does not have Administrator powers within the forum, so it cannot ban anyone or block or give powers to other users.
