As one of the most important battle royales on the scene, Apex Legends launches to a new platform to bring its unique mechanics to Switch players. The title arrives today, but before we can play we have already known many of its technical aspects.
The particularity of this version is that we can enjoy Apex Legends anywhere and how we will do it in terms of resolution. Technical director Andy Boggs of Panic Button, the company that manages this port, has spoken with Famitsu about this matter.
Apex Legends will run at 720p resolution in TV mode and 576p in handheld mode. In addition, he also reported that the game will have a rate of 30 frames per second, regardless of the mode in which it is played.
On the other hand, Chad Grenier from Respawn Entertainment offered information to Nintendo Life regarding the crossplay that the game will present with other platforms. Nevertheless, cross progression between platforms and accounts is not enabled and it does not seem clear that it will end up arriving in the future, but the team is very aware of it.
