Apex Legends has banned over 770,000 players since launch

Apex Legends keep doing cheat 'cleaning'. Since the game came out last February, Respawn Entertainment has had problems with some players. In fact, a month after its release, it had to ban 355.000 PC gamers for cheating. Now, the number of accounts deleted rises to more than 770,000 accounts on PC.

Of those accounts, 300,000 were related to spam and 4,000 to deceptive sales. Respawn is working hard to have a 'healthy' player community, where all accounts are for playing Apex Legends. In addition, it also has a campaign to penalize players who leave games early.

"While we can't share details about what we're doing to not worry about cheaters, what we can say is that we're attacking this from all angles, from upgrades to cheater detection, beefing up resources." And tools, to improve processes and other clever things to combat sellers and cheaters, "said the developer in a statement via Reddit.

We do not know if these measures will apply to the other platforms on which it is available Apex Legends but Respawn is taking seriously its mission to end the cheats. This Battle Royale is not going through its best moment. His audience on Twitch has dropped dramatically and Respawn has stopped providing daily updates to its fans (which was one of the attractions of the game).
