Original news: Apex Legends has just started its Season 8 on all platforms ... except Nintendo Switch. Respawn's battle royale is on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X, but the Nintendo Switch version, announced months ago, it has not yet come out, it has not even confirmed its date.

There were several leaks that seemed to indicate that it would be released today, February 2, coinciding with the start of season 8, it was even announced in the description of the Apex Legends YouTube video (although it was quickly edited). But clearly, it has not.

However, it seems pretty obvious that the release of Apex Legends on Switch is imminent ... or at least that was the intention. And the thing is that tomorrow, February 3, a new Nintendo Switch Wireless Controller (from PowerA) customized with Apex Legends.

It is a change that we will not notice in the games ... although it is expected that later it will serve to make improvements to the stability of the online multiplayer of Switch, one of the most criticized aspects of the console.
