Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

She is the daughter of King Triton. He longs to see the outside world. Worried about Flounder's absence, she allowed herself to be coaxed by Úrsula and handed him the king's trident. We help Ariel save Flounder, retrieve the trident, and tell her father the truth.

History

Kingdom Hearts

Ariel is the youngest daughter of King Triton. She is a beautiful teenage mermaid with a prodigious voice, but very rebellious and with a special interest in the world of the surface. He appeared for the first time in the first scene in the world of Atlantica, when he flees from some Heartless, there he finds Sora, Donald and Goofy. Enchanted by the outer world and the world on the surface, she was deceived twice by the sea witch Ursula. The first time, after an argument with her father, Ariel stole the Trident so that Ursula could take her to meet the outside world, but in reality the only thing the witch wanted was to rule Atlantica. Regretful for what she had done, Ariel tried to retrieve the trident, and enlisted the help of Sora and his friends. After defeating Ursula with Sora, he apologizes to his father and tries not to be so rebellious.

On a second occasion, Ariel saved a prince from drowning and fell in love with him but, meeting his father, decided to get (much to his regret) out of his way. The Little Mermaid had to sing for a musical, but she was so depressed about what she had done that she was unable to focus on rehearsals, not even when Sebastian the crab asked Sora for help.

When the King learned of Ariel's secret love, he entered her lair and destroyed the statue. It was then that Úrsula returned and made a pact with the mermaid: her voice in exchange for her legs. Ariel accepted, even knowing that if she did not receive a loving kiss from the prince before sunset on the third day, she would once again become a mermaid and would become one of the filthy creatures that Úrsula collected.

After the transformation, the days passed and Ariel seemed happy next to her prince, although Sora decided to stay in the world during that time to keep an eye on her. However, on the third day the prince had found a new love, which turned out to be Ursula in disguise. However, the deception served to prevent the princess from kissing Eric before sunset, and Úrsula was able to continue with her perfidious plan: to get the trident of King Triton by exchanging it for her daughter. But once again Úrsula failed and lost her life, although that would not serve to convince Ariel's father to let his daughter be with a human. However, the love that the prince and the mermaid felt was so intense that

Triton softened his heart and gave the go-ahead to the relationship, thus obtaining Ariel what he was fighting for: freedom of choice. At the end of the game she (in her human form) and Eric get married on a boat and kiss while inhabitants of sea and land see them happy.

Curiosities

Ariel collects human objects that have been lost at sea, sometimes leading his best friend the fish Flounder to risk his life. In Kingdom Hearts II it looks like it has corks, cutlery, music boxes, boxes, etc.
