Base Plate

La Base Plate (ス テ ー タ ス マ ト リ ッ ク ス Sutētasu Matorikkusu ?, lit. "Status Matrix") is the mechanism which functions Data Sora's growth in stats and abilities in Kingdom Hearts Re: coded. This works by giving a line of circuits inside the board, and this divides into several paths as you go through it.

The Motherboard begins only with a small available area but as you complete the stories of the different worlds a new area will be unlocked with different abilities and its own CPU.

As you progress through the Motherboard you will find all these different features to give Data Sora new capabilities, such as: getting skills, getting slots for both Commands and Accessories and Cheat Devices.

State Chips

Throughout Data Sora's adventure, he will find State Chips (ス テ ー タ ス チ ッ プ Sutētasu Chippu ?, lit. "Status Chips") which can be used in these slots and these will affect the growth of Data Sora's statistics and this will allow more progress is made on the motherboard. The State Chips cannot be uninstalled although they can be exchanged for another State Chip. When Data Sora levels up, he receives a level chip that adds up to 2 for VT and one for Attack, Defense, and Magic.

CPU

The Motherboard is made up of CPUs and these make the different state chips work. You can also make the chips link 2 CPUs these double the effect of the Chips placed in the connection path of the nexus. The latter is called Dual Processor (デ ュ ア ル プ ロ セ ッ サ に し よ う Dyuaru Purosessa ?, lit. "Dual Processor").

Amplifier Activation

In these you get support skills if you link through chips with these amplifiers. Some of the skills can be leveled up making them more effective, for example Libra or Glider. Except for the Libra skill, skills can be turned on and off at any time.

Cheat Devices

It is used to manipulate Data Sora's data and those of enemies, among others. These are 5 different types that appear on the Motherboard. These bring both positive and negative effects. Some trophies can only be obtained using these tricks and some make some trophies easier. These tricks are:

Difficulty

In this game the difficulty (難易 度 チ ー ト Nan'ido Chīto?) Can be changed at any time during Data Sora's adventure and here it is determined how strong the rivals are. There are 4 difficulties and they are: Novice, Normal, Professional and Critical. The greater the difficulty, the greater the objects they drop.
