    Bats

Bats is a common rarity card in Clash Royale that can be obtained from the Valley of Spells arena (Arena 5).

    Details

    • They can be obtained from chests after reaching Arena 5.
    • Deploy 5 melee attack bats with very low hit points and very low damage.
    • It will take 2 units of elixir to unfold this card.

    Strategy

    • A combo of Skeletons and Bats can take out a single Sparkle. The Skeletons will surround and stop Sparky while the Bats damage her. However, the player must be sure that the opponent does not have any spells that eliminate his troops.
    • Bats are like aerial Skeletons, faster, but they cannot distract troops that only attack ground units.
    • They can be a replacement for the Minions. However, they have much lower hit points, do less damage, and can be eliminated in a single attack by many troops from airborne targets like the Witch or a Princess Tower, or by spells like the Bolt. They also don't pose much of a threat if used offensively, being one of three Cards that can't deal damage to the Tower of Crowns on its own.
    • Bats can be used to counter troops that only attack ground targets such as the Valkyrie, Knight, Mini PEKKA, and Rock Thrower. They can quickly eliminate these troops with their high damage per second if they are not eliminated by a spell.
    • Bats can be used to counter many troops with aerial targets such as the Executioner, the Musketeer, and the Hunter, by placing them just above the card when it enters the attack range of the Defending Tower.
    • They can be used to counter the Graveyard for a 3 elixir buff. However, Bats are very vulnerable to spells like Shock.
    • The Bats cannot fully counter the Golem as their deadly damage will kill them, but they will do quite a bit of damage to the Golem if they are not eliminated quickly.
