Bella

Bella She is one of the Princesses of the Heart. Appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts II. It is originally from the Disney animated film "Beauty and the Beast" (1991). In Kingdom Hearts, she spoke through dialog boxes, but in Kingdom Hearts II, her role was greatly expanded and it was therefore the voice of her original voice actress, Paige O'Hara, who played her.

A brave and intelligent young woman who understands the true nature of the Beast. She is one of the seven princesses needed to open the final lock. Together with Beast he has lost his world. Appeared in the castle of the Beast, for the first time in "Beauty and the Beast" (1991)

A young woman who saw the goodness behind the Beast's rough exterior. Realizing that Maleficent is searching for her heart, Bella acted coldly towards the beast to keep her heart beyond the witch's reach.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

A girl who was a prisoner in the castle of the Beast. At first it scared her, but little by little, she noticed Beast's wounded heart that was hidden in the world. Bella is one of the seven princesses needed to open the ultimate door to the kingdom of darkness. She is very grateful to the Beast and Sora.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Beauty saw through the Beast's rugged appearance and helped him find the heart that had been hidden from the world for so long. Bella loves to read adventure books in far away places. Bella's emblem appears in the Descent to the Heart as seen in Sora's awakening.

History

Kingdom Hearts

His first appearance was in a stained glass image depicted on top of a yellow column in the Descent to Heart world. She was asleep in the artwork, suggesting that she had already been captured by Maleficent at the time. Bella had been living somewhat happily in the Beast's castle, getting closer and closer to the Beast every day, despite his disgusting shape and uneven temperament. One day, however, Bella was kidnapped by Maleficent as part of the plan to obtain Kingdom Hearts. The Heartless consumed his world, causing all of its enchanted inhabitants to disappear into darkness. But the beast had managed to survive the destruction of its world, and it sought out Beauty, using the corridors of darkness to reach Hollow Bastion. Maleficent put Bella in an enchanted dream and placed her in an honored glass box with the other princesses of the heart. She then uses all of the princesses' hearts to open the "final lock." Her heart was later restored by Sora's bravery, and she was freed from his charm. She was separated from her fellow princesses, due to her passion for books, they went to the Hollow Bastion collection, looking for ways to stop the darkness. Fortunately, he was reunited with the Beast at last, explained to Sora what had happened at Hollow Bastion, as best he could, during their brief outing, and then gave him the Divine Rose keychain. When Sora had finally sealed Kingdom Hearts, Beauty and the Beast returned home together.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

The following events were actually a corruption of Sora's memories of Kingdom Hearts, which is why the Kingdom Hearts did not actually occur. Sora, Donald, and Goofy entered Sora's memories of Hollow Bastion through Castle Oblivion only to find Beauty and the Beast in a heated argument near the entrance to Hollow Bastion. The beast tried to explain to Bella that it had

come a long way to save her from Maleficent, but Bella insisted that since she had no interest in talking to him. He eventually retreated to the Hollow Bastion collection, leaving the beast in depressed confusion. Sora and his friends later found Bella in the library, and tried to understand her strangely cold attitude towards the Beast. Bella continued to reject Maleficent's demands, even under the threat of torture. Sora arrived just in time, as did the Beast. Bella continued with her increasingly rude attitude towards the Beast, seeing, prompting the Beast to spill his true feelings for her. Maleficent then threatened to steal the heart of the Beast, who had shown himself to be rich and vulnerable, by explaining his love for Bella. As Maleficent attempted to take the Beast's heart, Beauty sacrificed herself to save it. Maleficent later revealed to the Beast, Sora, Donald, and Goofy that Bella had been purposely shunning the beast in an attempt to prevent herself from exposing her heart by Maleficent to use dark magic. After Sora defeated Maleficent, Bella was returned to her physical state, with her heart intact. He quickly apologized for his actions, which the Beast easily forgave him knowing they were not his true feelings.

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

Bella appears with Beast in Beast Castle, in 358/2 Days. As the story takes place after the original Kingdom Hearts, Beauty and the Beast have returned to the castle.

Beast safe and sound and are trying to forget everything that happened. But when Xaldin of Organization XIII takes an interest in the heart of the Beast, they are worried about his days in peace.

Kingdom Hearts II

A year after the events of Kingdom Hearts, Beauty and the Beast were trying to return to their normal lives at Beast Castle. However, the peace was soon interrupted by Organization XIII. Xaldin, a member of this, began to play with the wrath of the Beast, trying to enrage him, to the point that his heart was soaked in darkness, to end up generating a Heartless and in turn a powerful Nobody, which Organization could use for evil purposes. In an attempt to keep them safe, the Beast forced most of his servants to hide in the castle dungeons and locked them in the dungeons. Bella, not knowing what to do and fearing Beast's sudden increase in rage, hid in her room in fear. She was overjoyed when Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrived at the Castle. Bella explained that all the servants were in the dungeon. Sora went there to free them after a battle with a heartless, everyone returned to their tasks and Sora along with his two friends and Din Don went to see the Beast to appease his anger. He realized that he had been too rude to Bella and that they were controlling him. Hoping for an apology, he headed outside with Sora to find her. Bella meanwhile wanted to face Xaldin on her own. Xaldin used his dark influence to summon a Heartless. Bella managed to elude him, escaping to the balcony of the ballroom. After the creature was defeated, the Beast apologized to Bella, she accepted his kind words, but reprimanded him for not trusting her. Sora later returned to Beast's castle to find Beauty and Beast on a seemingly inopportune date. When the couple began a romantic dance in the ballroom, Xaldin interrupted the celebration, much to Bella's chagrin. She was forced to briefly withdraw. Xaldin sent a horde of Dragon Incorporeos to entertain our heroes. When were the enemies for his enchanted rose. After this, he begged Beast to explain what was wrong, but the Beast's frustration is such that he asks Sora and the others to leave the castle with Bella. Bella retired to her room crying, and went out onto the balcony to think. When he later saw the Beast, along with Sora, Donald, and Goofy emerging from the castle courtyard, it headed inside, but on its way saw the rose left near the door. As he showed the rose to his friends everything was going well but sadly, he soon realized that it was all a setup and Xaldin grabbed it from behind and flew to the bridge outside the Beast's castle. Beast demands Xaldin to leave but Xaldin said that the load was excessive and that he had to choose what to leave there: Beauty or the rose. However Bella proved to Xaldin that she was not just a simple village girl and elbowed the member of Organization XIII in the stomach and, smiling to herself, ran towards the castle clutching the rose in its bell jar. Once the beast and Sora defeated Xaldin, Bella returned the rose to Beast. He asked her to stay with him in his castle, to which she agreed.

Skills

Because Bella is a princess at heart, she has many special abilities that are intensified or activated when she teams up with the other princesses:

• If you join the heart with the other princesses, you can form the keyblade of the princess's heart and open the primordial lock hidden in the hollow bastion.

• Since there is only pure light in her heart, she can fight the darkness herself (she can perform this task on her own, but it has stronger effects when she is with the other princesses).

• Bella also has a great affinity for books, and this allows her to absorb knowledge quickly. Plus, as Xaldin was shown in Kingdom Hearts II, she can defend herself well and in a pinch deliver a good punch to the stomach, if she's right to do so.

• She acts with the other princesses by gathering her power, and is able to amplify the power of Sora's spells.

His appearance in the Kingdom Hearts franchise is based directly on his appearance in the award-winning Walt Disney Academy film, Beauty and the Beast (1991). Bella was a character has appeared in various incarnations of beauty and the Beast story throughout history, but her Disney counterpart is based primarily on the beauty character of Jeanne-La Belle et la Marie Leprince de Beaumont Bete, which was published in 1756.

Curiosities

• Paige O'Hara has voiced Bella since her first appearance in Beauty and the Beast. The only times she hasn't was when Bella made a cameo appearance in House of Mouse (in this case, it was the voice of Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel) and the singing voice of Bella on Disney's Princess album. Christmas (where it was voiced by Susan Egan, the voice of Meg and the original Bella on Broadway).

• In Kingdom Hearts, the Bella dress appears for the first time with her dance costume well known to fans before seeing Beast. However, in Kingdom Hearts II, she appears only dressed like this on the second visit since they had not been able to dance before.

• It is interesting to note that Bella was kidnapped in Kingdom Hearts; in her dance clothes meaning that Beauty and the Beast could have been dancing when Maleficent or a lackey kidnapped her. That would be similar to when Xaldin takes the rose of the beast after the dance is interrupted.

• In his awakening station his hair is red, when it was always brown.

• Bella and Kairi are the only two princesses who give Sora a keychain instead of a new spell.

• Bella and Kairi are also the only two princesses to be seen wearing more than one outfit until Kingdom hearts II as in Birth by Sleep they show Cinderella wearing two different outfits, her dance outfit and her cleaning gear, and in other installments Aurora She is seen in her peasant dress.

• Bella is the last princess, who meets Sora, but the fourth to be mentioned by name.
