Beta trees are a type of simple tree that were to appear for the first time in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but were eventually replaced by others.
Appearance
The trunks of the beta trees were light brown in color and did not have the characteristic circles of the simple trees in the other games. In addition, its leaves are different, having five tips instead of one, and are light green.
