Tyler Blu Gunderson o Blue It is a domesticated, social Blue Macaw. Captured by poachers when he was very young, the box in which he was transported was lost in a small Minnesota town, where a human named Linda finds and cares for him for 15 years. After spending so many years domesticated, it does not have the ability to fly, although it has other characteristics not very common in an animal of its species such as a high IQ and climbing abilities, as well as typing on a computer. They take him to Brazil to procreate with the last female of his species named Perla who falls in love with her.
In Angry Birds Rio (as shown in a preview) he appears trapped in a cage with Pearl (just like the movie). You can play with him, in the game. It appears separately in the Rio Carnival, its function is to move objects away with its wings. Blu, is the protagonist of Rio and is a rare species of Blue Macaw that originated in a bookstore in Minnesota, taken by invisible smugglers and sent to Rio, the same fate to later be suffered by the Angry Birds, for his species (red , blue, yellow, etc.) is also described as rare. Angry Birds does not meet Blu if not until the end of the episode Smuggler Den, where he is locked in a cage next to Pearl, he is only the only Cyanopsitta in existence. It is later used in escaping the jungle as a Bird, at Rio level 6-15, connected to playable Pearl. When touched or clicked, Pearl will fly forward with Blu, who is thrown behind her. He is still armed with Pearl in beach volleyball however at Carnival the agitation is independent. Blu, this time, has a new ability. Once he hits an object, He will be able to shake himself causing the objects to spread.
How to Use Blu, at the Carnival level.
